Later, the BJP gave the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat to Suresh Gopi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections that came within a few years. Suresh Gopi lost to Congress candidate Prataphan in that election. In this case, the BJP fielded Suresh Gopi in the Thrissur constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In this election, Suresh Gopi won a huge victory and shook the entire Kerala. As a result, Suresh Gopi has now assumed the post of Union Joint Minister.

Gokul Suresh is a young actor in Malayalam cinema. It is noteworthy that Bhagya Suresh, daughter of Suresh Gopi, performed the wedding in front of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
