I have just seen on the post for the MP7 423 6v/12 4A ..that it is not suitable for EFB batteries ... is this correct ? should i buy another smart charger ?

Would this charge a battery any faster when compared to the MP7423? The main advantages when compared to MP7423 is that Gel type is now supported, but also that it has more charging stages? Better at conditioning? Only downside is that its less energy efficient when compared to MP7423? Does this also have memory function incase of power outages like the MP7423? Thankyou

Hi, here are the main comparisons - the rated output of the two devices are the same. MP7423 has a 5 step charging cycle, MP7424 has 8 stages. MP7424 offers a gel charging program, MP7423 does not. If power to the MP7424 is interrupted, it will resume on 1A charge mode when power is restored. We hope this helps!

@@MaypoleLtd1 Hi guys, do you know what the normal level of noise is from this device as I'm struggling to withstand the high pitch whine. My mother can't hear it but she doesn't have fill range hearing like me. Thankyou

@@warwickdean Hi, that is an invertor whine. It is not a fault, but more of a feature. Some units are more noticeable than others. You could return the charger to exchange it, the replacement may be better but we cannot guarantee it.
