I got my winch and plow mounted on my 570 Outlander the other day. Took 5 hours to install each, and with help. I never ever want to do that again. Not a lot of snow here, but I did find an unplowed bit of snow and the quad ripped right thru it. It is going to be a great machine. Q: My first attempts to get the plows auto engage/lock doesn't seem to work as described. Not lifting high enough, and/or maybe at the wrong time? Did you have to fuss much with the quick attach mechanism to get it to work as advertised?

Cool. I had the dealer mount mine. Sounds like that was a good decision. You'll like it!

@@ColinFisher Yup! The dealer told me it was about a $200 job. I could do it faster a second time, and I suppose if I had a lift vs crawling around on the cold garage floor, that would help. Still I know I did it right, and it is a solid and substantial plow that will not hesitate to push the wet heavy snow back out of the way.

install rubber stal matt to front edge of your blade it will clean like a squeegee

The more quads with blades videos I watch the more I like my snowblower.

The plow is way better in the wet slushy snow. Also it’s 4x as fast down the long part of my driveway. Snowblowers have their place though.

Snowblowers are great if you don't want your driveway clean of snow!! I've used both. Snowblowers don't cleanup snow like an atv with a plow, snowblowers ride up on the snow, whereas an atv plow scrapes right down nice. LOL if the wind if blowing at all, clearing your driveway is oh so much fun with a snowblower. I can keep going if you'd like.
