✓ In this video we are very much privileged to watch some "action" inside Lahore Grillz Restaurant open Kitchen; it's something that goes on daily in restaurant kitchens all over the UK, (India and the World) but not often seen by the public.
On the day of our visit we chose the following vegetarian item from their menu:
TARKA DAAL RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Lentils cooked in a rich dry sauce with fresh ingredients
* Butter.
* Chopped Garlic.
* Pre-cooked Masoor Dal.
* Salt.
* Chopped Green Coriander.
* Green Coriander.
KARAHI CHANA PANEER RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
* Pre-cooked Chana Masala (Chickpeas cooked with tomatoes & special ingredients).
* Fried Paneer.
Cooked in a rich dry sauce with fresh ingredients.
KARAHI MIXED VEGETABLES RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
A traditional dish cooked in a rich dry sauce, using herbs & spices.
Note that; in Indian restaurants dishes are cooked on a very high heat which delivers a slight smokiness to the cooked food and gives that distinctive restaurant flavour and character to a dish.
All these dishes are served with either: chips / boiled rice / 3 chapatis / naan / 2 roti
