Yeah displacement and probably not a standard K20, mapped maybe. Plus the Elise will be a fair bit lighter.

Cheers bud. Yeah mine is limited to 180kmh (116mph). I use a 2ZZ UKDM ECU for tracks with a higher speed than 116mph.

@@MRS-2ZZ There is a very cheap simple trick for ditching the JDM limiter.... In the passenger footwell there is a connector with a purple and white wire in there. Cut it and fit a £15 kmh/mph cluster converter module on ebay. Then the engine ECU get 2/3's the road speed sent to it from the cluster. So you are doing 120mph, but the engine ECU only sees 75mph.

This is the 3rd engine. First one Rogue Motorsport didn't space the 1zz dipstick properly, leading to bottom end failure. 2nd one i money shifted. They are very robust if treated correctly.

@@MRS-2ZZ that's good to know. I've got a 2zz Mr2 but I've only just got it on the road. No plans to track it but its good to know it can handle quite alot of abuse. Thanks 👍

​@roystokes1286 mate if you change the right oil every 5k kms and fluids coolant etc in right times you have also oil pan from 1zz and forged oil pump gear this engine is very reliable even in track days and hard use and with longlife. Also the internals is forged except pistons (cast) and can hold easy 350hp but with max 350-370nm for pistons and gearbox safe.
