Marking High Spots For Grinding On A Concrete Floor

Күн бұрынMy brother sent me a video of him getting ready to install flooring. His concrete floors had some high and low spots. This is how he marked them. I had to share it. This video is used with his permission.

I'm a huge fan and backer of your projects. I was looking at different methods for doing this and laughed out loud when this popped up. It's so different from your normal stuff. That being said, this looks like it will work perfectly for me. Your brother is a genius.

Great idea, most people would just mark where the gaps are for obvious low spots but the light helps with the visual. Cool idea.

Would just skim coat then screed, float and refinish. Wet Concrete self levels.

Then you have to wait a super long time for it to cure and dry out before you install flooring. Good in theory, but not practical for if you need a floor in a reasonable amount of time.

I need you to fix my floor, it is so uneven. I purchased flooring, but can't install until I get this level, and no one seems to know how to do it.
