I also wonder if “rebellionaire” is a shot at resellers too, given that they released randomly at boutique shops only. As in “resellers can’t stop true fans from wearing the sneakers”.

Usually I do not like so much going on , on my Jordans but I do like these. Taking the OG AJ1 blocking and modifying with interesting style hits and connecting them with MJ's early banned situation is a nice touch. To me the Rebellionaires are interesting & unique and more of a statement sneaker. Definitely not an everyday type AJ1 but certainly a bold choice to mix into the rotation for those who can get them. So far already took a few Ls online and in person (in NYC) and entered a few raffles this past week in the hope to at least cop a personal pair. I was a bit unsure on these at first but I have grown to like them quite a bit and considering outside of a few exceptions not looking like a great year for the AJ1, these are one of the few standout versions in 2022.

Packaging is great but I'm not feeling those graffiti details on the shoes itself. It's a bit too much. A simple Shadow 1 with just the banned mark at the back IMO would've been a better final product.

6 hours on undefeated for these but was well worth it. Another 🔥 piece to the collection

I am NOT a fan of the Jordan 1’s(to wear myself) because I never really thought that they were comfortable enough to wear on the court. But I’ve ALWAYS like them for the style because they’ve always looked dope to me but like I said before, just didn’t look comfortable enough to play ball in. Now that I’m not on the court anymore, I can actually appreciate the STYLE more than the performance. BUT THESE RIGHT HERE!!! The second I saw them I said that I gotta have em!!!! They spoke to me the second I saw them. From the color way to the writing, they IMMEDIATELY drew my attention.

For me these were a must cop, I am forced to pay resale. The only negative for me is it's patent leather. I do not like patent leather. I also love wild shoes, and I rock it.

The difference is you can’t compare these to the shadows…of course we would prefer the shadows..most of us couldn’t cop them or afford them. These are 8/10 for overall…availability, price, distinction, and design.

The shiny graffiti looks tacky IMO. I appreciate the concept but the execution is a miss. real question is not if they look good in hand, but if they look good on feet. The best thing about 1s is you don’t necessarily need a fit to wear them, but you might have to for these

I live in Oklahoma. The closest city that got pairs was 7 hours away. By the time I made that drive. I might as well just pay resell. But my issue is. This was a release for the people. Jordan brand wanted this to go into the hands of the marginalized. To go directly into the hands of the people. And yet in so many instances, they went into the hands of resellers... Well, what's new? I am hunting for a personal pair. But get this, duh duh duh. For retail... Yes, you read that correctly. Retail. I will NEVER sell them no matter the eventual resell cost.
