It's honestly impressive the stats, tolerances, engineering, and capabilities of this incredible Aston Martin. We will look back on this time as a golden era for super/hyper cars. Awesome!

When this car was announced I was fascinated by its aerodynamics and said "I want to do that". Here I am 5 years later beginning my first year of college studying mechanical/aerospace engineering, and still marveling at this beautiful car.

This car is crazy. I don't think people appreciate it currently, but they'll understand when the car is $20M+ in 10 years. People need time to process it just like the Carrera GT, McLaren F1 etc.

One of the first JWW videos I remember watching was the 458 Speciale delivery video probably 6 or 7 years ago now. I'm so pleased this type of content has been a staple of the channel and even more thrilled that the depth and breadth of information we're consistently presented with, is to a level that no one else can even come close to. James still feels like one of us car nerds and long may he continue to grant us such privileged access to a world most will never experience personally.

@@Ghostface944 Like he said in the video, it's his business partners car, but he was the one that spec'd it and went thru that whole process. He was transparent so it's not like he's hiding that fact, and I think it makes perfect sense that he would have a delivery and walk-through video about it. He also has a close relationship with AM so we probably would've seen this video with another car regardless if he hadn't had the opportunity to spec one. I think it'd be much weirder if the only content he made was with his own personal cars lol, how many creators do that?

Congratulations on this amazing car. I'm only 15 minutes in and had to comment. The engineering on this car is beyond impressive. The water bottle, number plate aero and actuators within the active aero to name but a few. Haven't even moved beyond the front wheel arch 😂. This almost feature film length vlog will be rewatched. So so impressive.

Absolutely amazing video James. I love your production quality and just the obscene experiences you let us live through you. Thank you also to Aston for making this experience possible too. I was amused that they are proud of it running on Cup 2's that are "freely available at your local tire shop" but that 6 foot torsion wrench is also not freely available at your local tire shop in order to change them. Nor can your local garage jack up a F1 style car with a carbon tub. You will still have to go to Aston to get the wheels off. Find it odd how James is seemingly impressed that you could drive on that tire out in the rain or on the track yet I would have expected the vast majority of his cars probably run sport cup tires already :D
