You forgot to tell them about the hidden steering wheel. It's located right in front of the dash cluster and it can be used for steering the car in case your route requires turns and not just a straight line. Oh and the secret way to turn off the breaks without having to turn of traction control. You just snip the lines and tadaa, no breaks. But don't tell anyone. It's a secret.

Informative video. The part about the drug stash openings at the back seat is especially interesting (never knew they'd use that to stash stuff).

The ballistic doors are a $4k factory option and you can definitely feel the difference between those that have it and those that don't. I had a 2008 with ballistic doors and it takes effort to open and close those doors. There was a memo out to not kick those ballistic doors open to get them to shut when we are seated in the car because the heavy doors could come back with enough force to break your ankle.

Back before we knew about it, that fuel cut off switch left me and a buddy stranded once or twice.

"secret electric seat controls" ... how in the hell is this a secret?
@bryonheath7 жыл бұрын
the ABS on a cvpi does not have any thing to do with traction control traction control would be a separate circuit on the pcm

Yeah my parents 91 Thunderbird SC had those same "secret" electric seat buttons wow. Oh and I love the "secret" fuse that you can remove to disable your traction control and ABS brakes. Wow my Truck has one of those "secret" fuse boxes.
@henryw41297 жыл бұрын
It would be foolish to pull a fuse if it disabled the ABS. ABS can save your life.

Certified calibration is useful because certain radars cannot register a speed while in motion, hence the need for calibration. But that can and is frequently thrown out.

That button on the side of the seat is for lumbar support not seat adjustment. It pumps up so you have lumbar support

Thanks for the videos, I am looking at a P71 for my daughter to drive for her first car. Very informative.

Every fuel injected vehicle since the 80's has been required to have a fuel pump shutoff switch.

If you pull off the console where the traction control switch should be located. I'll bet the harness is there. Go get a switch at a scrap yard

that part about the fuel cutoff. is in all Ford products since the use of fuel injection.

I have a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor. Inside my trunk, behind the right tail light I have an On/Off switch. I know it's not a fuel shut off button since I have it on the left. Thought you might know what it is.

you forgot a P71 is the only way to get the 3.55 rear end ....
