Not just Blackpool, but all over , we have similar problems here in the South in what seems lovely country towns, in local authority housing even so called Sheltered housing, just few badly behaved Tennant's making it miserable for other law abiding decent neighbours. The problem is that local authorities are often too soft on the bad Tennant's, then everybody else has to put up with them!

There are a lot of derelict hotels in Blackpool, particularly North Shore. Some are now being turned into.....rented accommodation for DSS and immigrants. Some have been turned into "luxury holiday lets," which basically cater for groups of drunk stag and hen parties. We've had to clear bags of bottles and hundreds of laughing gas cannisters from the back alleyway after they have had their weekend of fun! Has Blackpool reached the bottom of the barrel, or will it keep scratching through the timbers to go further into the abyss? Only time will tell!

8 years to get these people out and another 7 years for You Tube to get it recommended to me. This has been a long haul folks but thanks - everyone got there in the end. Job done.

Where is our government and our law ,they are the ones should be dealing with these trouble makers,and not allowed to put them by decent people.

Yeah last year I was on a trip to Blackpool I was out at night walking past this fast food place at the Golden Mile, there was three of them hanging about one the other tried to run off with this guy's bike, it turned into a fight the other guy was trying to rip this guy's head off while kids and families were walking about. Blackpool can get right scary at night.

Once upon a time Blackpool was a seaside resort. Now it's just a seaside town.

Me and my family recently went to Devon on holiday and called into Torquay for the day I was shocked the amount off druggies and beggers there we went int a KFC for dinner next minute a druggie came in nibbling bones off empty plates a sad situation but it's all over the UK .

Black pool has become bedsit capital of the UK. I went there last year. Wow, what a fall from grace from years ago when I went there. The amount of dog shit on the beach sort of summed it up

Hoteliers going about their honest business. Paying taxes and rates. Creating employment and it takes them 8 years to remove people who are doing their best to bankrupt them. Sort the problem out yourself! If you wait for the local council and the Police you will wait forever and go bankrupt waiting.

After all the research I have done on just how bad Blackpool is, I conclude that it is a great area for street-photographers.

This is how it started 40 years ago in North shore ,which went down the same road with ex holiday let's turning into DSS acomadation ,and withing a few years north shore which was a very busy holiday part of Blackpool when I was a boy in 70 s ,now there is hardly any holiday accommodation way too rough an area .

Down recently,not impressed. My b&b was reasonably priced for me,Mrs & bairn,but although online reviews were great,the place was minging! Maybe the reviews were written by the owners friends! The attraction to everything I recall from years ago was simply not there anymore,it seems between supermarkets,internet & smoking ban the place is on its last legs. Shops are crap now,arcades more of a rip-off than before,”traveller” type blokes ripping you off along the front for a 2 minute ride in a Disney themed carriage,no strippers,(that I could find lol), filth & muck everywhere. It was simply like a town full of dimwit primark numpties ,I kid you not and I’m not a snob,just this was embarrassing to say the least. I won’t be back,ever, cheaper to hit Spain for a week all inc,cleaner too.

Its the same problem on HULL ROAD the next road along and also CHAPEL STREET 200 yards away and lots of slums around BLACKPOOL CENTRAL being run for the benefit of absentee landlords,"NIGHTMARE TENANTS SLUM LANDLORDS" is awash with BLACKPOOL PROPERTIES

i was with my family in blackpool for a trip. the hotel wassodirty i had to ask for a vacuum and clean the room my self because wewere with baby!

I was in Blackpool 2017 staying in a B&B near the front. B&B clean tidy warm great breakfast. All you can eat and endless coffees and toast. Went to a few pubs in the evening. Strolled along the prom came back on a tram. Went for an Indians sit down and then sat on the front until 2am. never seen any trouble or beggars never got offered drugs and wasn't accosted by any prostitutes didn't witness any fights or asked if I wanted to by stolen goods.. I'm never going back.

I used to go to Blackpool with my family for short breaks or a day out on a Saturday it was the place to go, such fun,,,,,,,, but we hav'nt been for years due to seeing needles on the streets,,, antisocial behaviour, I do feel for the b&b, hotels owners who are trying to make a living, no disrespect to anyone, but I want ever return there, even for a day out sorry, it's a shame has Blackpool was once a beautiful place to go.
