Hello darlings! We are jumping back onto the Mrs Maisel bandwagon with an exciting review of the Revlon/Maisel lipstick collaboration. In this video I test, swatch and review Revlon’s Rum Raisin, Blushing Mauve, Cherries in the Snow, Fire and Ice and Certainly Red lipsticks.

Raisin Rage from the 90s looks fantastic on me and so does Cherries in the Snow from the 50s

Your review was fantastic! Both my mother and her sister had Fire & Ice, Certainly Red, and Cherries in the Snow in their makeup bags. I have all six tubes and lipstick and I absolutely love them!

I purchased both cherries in the snow and fire & ice online through Ulta. I prefer matte lipsticks so that's what I ordered. I received cherries in the snow, it's a beautiful color. It reminds me of MAC Ruby Woo. Can't wait to try on fire & ice!

Absolutely love your review of the Collection. These lipsticks are so moisturizing. However I did have to swap out two of them with my Mom. It just didn’t look flattering on my olive skin tone. My favorite was Rum Raisin and Certainly Red.

I was so surprised with Rum Raisin and I can see why it was so popular and Certainly Red is a fabulous shade. Nothing wrong with sharing the lipstick love!!

I remember reading that "stormy pink" was released in the 60s, and it's still available now. They should have included that color.

Ah yes I've seen that one! I'd love to look at other vintage Revlon shades in the future but for this video, it was the official Mrs Maisel collection. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have most of the Revlon vintage red shades except Cherries in The Snow bc I don't like pink very much but I still want to buy it at some point bc I've seen it lean red on some. I adore Revlon lipsticks. Rum Raisin suits you perfectly, I need to add that one to my list.

Cherries in the snow isn't pink it's very similar to MAC Ruby Woo. It's a cherry color. I ordered it online and tried it on. I'm a lighter shade of brown and it looks good on my skin tone! I used MAC cherry lip liner with it. I also ordered it in matte.

I've never worn reds, but I'd like to try rum raisin as it looks less bold than all other reds. It's more a red brown

I LOVE love Revlon since I was in 8th grade all threw high school until today they are the best beautiful will always wear Revlon lipsticks.

What foundation powder combination do you use to achieve this matte look? Love your channel

Hello! I'm actually in the midst of trying out different combinations as my favourite foundation has been discontinued after nearly 8 years of use (I almost cried in the store when I found out!). For this video I tried the Too Faced Melon foundation but as that was really glow-y, I put a thin layer of Too Faced Peach translucent powder to make it more matte. I recommend finding a good translucent powder as it really helps create a matte veil on the skin, at least for me. Good luck on your quest! And thank you for your kindness

@@MissMonMon Thank you for responding! I am inspired to wear red lips because of you, I could never dare before. I felt washed out. But I love the pale look now. If you don't mind sharing what was your favorite foundation - for shade reference, I am quite fair-skinned so, I was just curious. Thank you for your generous and kind advice xoxo

@@Itubersays Oh that's so exciting. I used to be scared of red lipstick but one day just stopped caring of what other thought and embraced what I loved. I am the colour 'snow' in Too Faced foundation, #1 Fair in Charlotte Tilbury, or 110 in Makeup Forever. I normally used one of these guys depending on coverage and how hot it's going to get. I love Revlon ..but.. I prefer a blue base toned Red Lipstick ..which they don't seem to be.

@@MissMonMon ..I have about 33 tubes of Red Lipstick.. my favorites are Too Faced Melted Matte "Lady Balls" ..MAC "Ruby Woo" ..BITE "Gazpacho" ..Wet n Wild "Stoplight Red" ..Avon Extra Lasting "Eternal Flame" ..NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil "Cruella" .. honorable mention.. Maybelline Color Jolt "Red-dy or Not" and Matte Lipstick "Rich Ruby"
