The more I listen to it, the more I like it. Moreover, I didn't know it was Marvin Gaye original. But I knew the melody from my childhood. It just stuck in my head for more than 40 years. I bet my Dad put this record so many times, I just pick it up without knowing what it was. It is amazing how our brain works. I then find it again in a Live Performance from Carlos Santana, when he mixes it with a wonderful interpretation of his classic Europa. But didn't know what was it. Until now. You Tube just played it to me without notice while listening some oldies. Finally.
