When Walker told Hoskins family that he got the guy who did it, I didn't take that as him lying, I think he truly believed all the flagsmashers were partly responsible. When he also says "I would never let the person who did that get away" I think he's fully set on killing Karli and the rest of the flagsmashers as well

I think Bucky doing the thing with the gun and the bullets was to REALLY shove it in Zemo’s face that he is not a killer

I think John Walker has called himself Captain America more times in a few episodes than Steve Rogers did in all the films over the many decades.

Bucky not shooting Zemo seemed a direct response to Zemo's previous line: "But you, you're literally programmed to kill."

My favorite part was when Wolverine made a cameo with mephisto and they killed John Krasinski.

We know Bucky found peace not because he didn't kill Zemo, but because he was sleeping on the couch.

I think the "I’m going to shoot you but uh oh actually no ammo in the gun" bit was actually for Bucky’s sake. I took it as him making the decision to not kill him in the end, but pulling the trigger was kind of him getting closure... 🤷‍♀️ idk though.

I believe Sam helped Bucky by thanking him for his help as back before Steve got the serum that’s what Bucky’s main purpose in life was. To help Steve. He has missed being able to help people and in turn has lost a big part of himself. Helping Sam rebuild the boat has re instilled his ability to help, and probably helped him more than anything.

I was going to say, when he "lied" to Battle Stars family it probably wasn't a lie to him. He probably thought that dude holding him back was the reason for Battle Stars death there for he was responsible (at least in Walkers eyes) but....... Mason's point about him potentially just wanting to be the most liked person in the room is very interesting. That may very well be the case. ...hmmmm

It would be pretty cool if Walker's shield gets damaged and dented as he's fighting and in the final confrontation with Sam, they'll hit each other with their shields and Sam's real shield shatters Walker's shield. Or they'll throw their shields at each other and Sam's shield cuts through Walker's shield and knocks him out.

As a New Orleans native, it was an incredible surprise hearing The Meters legendary rendition of Hey Pocky A-Way during that Bucky/Falcon boat repair montage. Never thought I’d hear Mardi Gras music in the MCU. :)

I just realized something about Zemo. In Civil War, he tried to kill himself, but was stopped by T’Challa, after his “mission” was complete. In that scene, he listened to his voicemail for the last time, remembering his family. In this episode, he was at the memorial thinking of his family. He was testing Bucky, believing he would either kill him, thinking he hasn’t changed, or hoping he wouldn’t kill him - meaning he had eliminated the future super-soldier possibility by crushing the vials, and trusting that Bucky would eliminate the remaining super soldiers (helping him complete his mission). But Bucky betrayed this by bringing the Dora, and turning him over. He may or may not have even expected that, going so far as to be sent to the Raft so he can get a team together. The prime evidence of this would be that he picked the best way to get Bucky to make the decision to kill or not, thus going against his programming as a killer - having crossed his own name out of the book, after Bucky had already told him he would kill him if he ever touched it again. Bucky felt redeemed as the ex-Winter Soldier, and he redeemed himself with the Wakandans, even though they said to stay out of Wakanda for a while. They did give Sam a new suit. Go Shuri.

John walker is obviously going to go after Sam and the flag smashers....but not before he gets himself a brand new pair of Raycon earbuds!

What you may not know: John Krasinski’s Mephisto is, in fact, what is staring Sam in the face from inside the crate.

the whole gun thing is kind of like a really cool therapy exercise. like writing a letter and never sending it, he gave himself the opportunity to kill and made the active choice not to. what a beautiful way for him to prove to himself that he’s not a killer anymore. one of the best moments of the show for me. really affected me.

The reason Sam is good at shield tossing with Bucky is because they're playing catch and pretty casually. They're standing still and just slowly lobbing it back and forth between each other. When he's on his own he's running, flipping, using that stunt double who's on Corridor's channel a bunch...

I loved the "I am Captain America line". It really shows the contrasts of John Walker from Steve Rogers because Steve never referred to himself as Captain America it was more Tony Starks that would call himself "I am Iron Man" a character that contrasted Steve Rogers as well

I’m glad we got to see Sam have a one-on-one talk with Isaiah, very powerful moment. Both this show & Wandavision, along with it’s respective cast & crew need to be nominated for emmys, golden globes, bafta, etc. They really delivered and especially during these turbulent times, whether it’s filming during a global pandemic or the great deal of unrelenting civil unrest in our society.

Evidence for -Nando's- New Rockstars missing plotline theory (please add more) : The show is only 6 episodes long (I'd say they cut out about 3 episodes worth of plot and couldn't reshoot) The general lack of a legitimate avenger-level threat posed by the Flag Smashers The lack of any detail whatsoever on the GRC Sharon not having anything to do (most of Sam contacting her is ADR or screen-replace stuff) The shield training scenes being swapped around (I think the tough-love scene was originally the last scene in the final episode) Zemo having a sudden change of heart off-screen and giving himself up (again originally the final episode) A missing scene with Bucky's broken arm being fixed

Look at the way Walker holds the shield. Upside down star. Devil. Mephisto confirmed in the mcu.

the thing that stings the most is that when Walkers buddy died and the mother was hugging him saying "how he would be so proud of you for getting him justice for the man responsible" or something like that..... BUT IN REALITY IT WAS WALKERS INABILITY TO WAIT AND BE PATIENT RUSHING THE ROOM THAT TRIGGERED THE ENTIRE FIGHT LEADING TO HIS PARTNERS DEATH.....

The contents of the briefcase is that weird plant in wakanda that gives you super powers. So Sam becomes an amalgamation of captain America and black panther

When Walker was sitting outside his discharge meeting with his girlfriend, I can't believe that the Corn on the Coblin met with them! Handed them her card and everything!

the bad guys in this series are the governments, systems, hydra and the GRC. They’re the ones putting all of these characters into compromised positions. the show is about the aftermath of the choices of the entities that make choices about other peoples lives.

Feel like i need to see Isaiah one more time before the last episode ends. Carl Lumbly was soooooooooo chill-inducingly GOOD when he had the scene with Mackie about the legacy of the shield and how the goverment treated him. And i got chills when he mentioned Tuskeegee, but then again, i love a good story with a well-used historical allegory!

I’m honestly so surprised they turned Zemo into a genuine anti-hero who’s more hero than villain. I honestly thought he’d betray them in the end but all the way through he was on their side.

I somehow wait for these more eagerly than the episodes themselves.

Final Episode US Agent vs Captain America Wakanda definitely made the suit for Sam 🛡️

Zemo hanging out at the memorial made me think that he did not expect to live through this it seems like he expected Bucky to kill him as soon as he was done helping. That is a fucked up outlook but it shows how committed Zemo is to ridding the MCU of super soldiers. I’m guessing Zemo is really going to hate mutants.

The end credits scene showed John Walker with red spray paint. John Walker is Mephisto confirmed.

John walker's medal scrap shield is actually John Krasinski in disguise, and Julia Louis Dreyfus is Mephisto pulling things from behind the scenes, Mason got turned into a goat.
