Sublime's got loads of bangers "Santeria" "Badfish" "What I Got" "Greatest Hits" "April 29, 1992" "STP" the list goes on I also think you would really like the band Slightly Stoopid. They were signed by the lead singer of Sublime while they were still in high school and when I saw them last year they were passing around giant joints throughout the show. I would start with "No Cocaine" "This Joint" or "2am"

Brad died right after they recorded the album that made them famous, before it was released. That album was full of hits.. Garden Grove, What I Got, Santeria, Doin Time, Caress Me Down, April 29th 1992 etc... Another good one to react to would be Pool Shark (Acoustic), that song is about his struggle with heroin and he predicts that "some day im gonna lose the war"...sadly he relapsed and died of a heroin overdose right after his son was born.. tragic R.I.P Bradley

This song Originally done by The Toyes! This is a cover version! “Smoke Two Joints" is a song originally written by The Toyes, who performed it in traditional Reggae style and released it in 1983. According to The Toyes, "one fine fall day on a small island" of Oahu in Hawaii, two of the band members, Jim and Sandy, were sitting under a large banyan tree on Kuhio Beach, "tokin' on some sweet bud & jammin' on a rootsy reggae funky town" when they conceived the song "Smoke Two Joints." -Wikipedia

How funny, I just left a comment about this too. The first time I heard the original smoke two joints was around 1987 on a radio talk show called "love line" on KROW with the original host poorman, not the later version on MTV.

Morning sesh, Night sesh, Afternoon sesh x 6 = 18 Now, he smokes 2 joints in time of peace, and 2 in time of war. since you're either in one or another, that's one more sesh x6. 18+6 =24 that's as close as I can get.

Siobhan Charnley Not if you’ve been smoking the good stuff for a while lol.. after living in Amsterdam, I can smoke 10 joints (of the best stuff) with hash or concentrate heavily added & never get more than somewhat buzzed. We were doing bong rips of a gram of weed + a gram of hash with our morning coffee lol. They sell edibles at 5 & 10mg- I need about 100mg + smoke tp feel anything resembling super stoned, even then it isn’t what it used to be. Tolerance is real 😞

lulu in hollywood Everything in moderation is my creed and of course tolerance is an issue. However, I don’t want to spend my entire day trying to get super stoned, but I do get stoned every day smoking “the good stuff “. Not all the of the excellent weed is limited to Amsterdam.

Hmm, I don’t know about that. I’ve been self-rolling daily since 1968. I was a “tester” and Gotta say the weed I was smoking was always top notch and “Boned Orange” was the bomb in ‘69. Plus I have daytime weed and nighttime weed, doesn’t everyone? I guess I’m a Ganga snob? But to be real, although I smoke every day, I don’t smoke all day. I consider that a waste, cause you’re just chasing that first high of the day. I always saved the jay for time of day when I can really enjoy it....after all my obligations had been met and never when driving....it spoils the vibe.

Siobhan Charnley what part of the world were u in? I can definitely say the medical stuff was overall better/stronger than the street stuff when I started smoking it 20yrs ago on US west coast, & a LOT of old time smokers trying medical got their asses handed to them in ways they never did their 1st time around with the stuff.. scientifically it’s proven that they’ve been breeding higher thc so the averages are way higher than back in the day- BUT- I believe you gain a tolerance for the difference pretty quickly, AND I believe people have focused too much on thc & still aren’t fully realizing the synergistic effects of the hundreds of other cannabinoids & terpenes that were in a natural balance, & therefore still produced effects (just more diverse pathways than just the thc component)
@siobhancharnley8760
@siobhancharnley8760 3 жыл бұрын
lulu in hollywood // I understand your notion that weed was not as strong back in the late 60’s. However when you look at the actual studies, the flawed testing (60’s and 70’s) relied on 150-200 samples a year from street busts. And due to delays of up to a year or more in receiving the samples for testing, the potency was already diminished and therefore understated. -fresh is best- in testing from the 1980’s to 2000’s the sample size only increased to a woefully inadequate 2,000 to 4,000 samples per year and still victim to the flaws of earlier studies. My friends were botanists and chemists so I was fortunate from early on to have access to prime ganja that improved yearly from botanical manipulation. So, I stand by my statement that 1.) in general THC was more potent than reported due to the testing deficiencies and 2) the ganja I smoke was available though not necessarily broadly disseminated to the typical consumer. And while potency is generally based on THC levels, it is important to consider, as you said, the synergetic components of the Cannabinoid. I still remain a happy Ganja Snob, 53 years since my first jay. And when I read the Annual Cannabis cup winners, I can say with confidence that I’ve sampled most if not all of the judged stock before it was declared a winner.☮️

That statement is most definitely false lol. Indiana had master growers from way back, yes, there was brick but some folk were enjoying the icky sticky in the early 80s and I'm sure in the 70s too. Ever see our corn in Southern Indiana? Funky farmers coming back from Vietnam figured it out way back.
