This is I was thinking would happen. I thought of this a few months ago. Would they really do that? Well looks like they are. Grrr.

I will handle windows 11 like I did windows 10 at the EOS or EOL for windows 10, I am just stubborn that way !

Bitlocker is only useful if you're paranoid or if you're a business user who deals with sensitive data on a daily basis. If you're an average user, it'll just cause problems if you need bitlocker, you know you need bitlocker, if you don't you shouldn't know what bitlocker even is

I've seen a couple of videos on this topic. Unless they force you to enter a password, there has to be a way to avoid this.

@@ricklakes9405 There is, it requires you to open a terminal during the install process and run a command to bypass it, I do not remember the command, nor how to open the terminal during the install, but I know there's a video that mentions it somewhere. it's not straightforward, unfortunately but that's microsoft for you

If you still use Windbloat in 2024, you deserve it. Linux is actually simpler and better than macOS.

What happens if someone gets your email password. They can get the key in a few seconds also any law enforcement can just ask for the code to unlock your bitlocker. Found this out when i tried to dual boot ubuntu. Switched back to windows and was locked out. I turned it off right away.
