Love the ButtKicker! I've been using the ButtKicker Simulation Kit with MSFS2020 for about 5 months now, and it's just great. What's more, I built a sim rig that contains all the various possible flight controls (collective, cyclic, various throttles and joysticks), as well as the seat, so the vibrations can be felt not only in the seat, but in the controls as well, which is really cool. Flying helicopters, piston powered aircraft, and the Twin Otter with the ButtKicker on makes the immersion in VR incredible. Mind you, I had to install two 140 mm fans to keep the unit cool. I'd consider it an indispensable part of the sim rig.

Hi, I bought the BK Gamer 2 and reading about this new product BK Plus, is it safe to say this one supports 220v for europe / south america ? BK G2 only supports US 110V power input

Can we still purchase Game Shaker for Aviators with the current world events and subsequent restrictions? If not, is it something we can manage without and still have a worthwhile experience?

Juat got he Buttkicker Gamer Plus today. I have it connected and it is working with my speakers but when I switch to VR I don't get the buttkicker any more. Must be something in my windows settings? Also having trouble finding the Simshaker for Aviators settings. I don't understand what is being input via the RCA connection and the USB connection.

Hi, would love to hear the settings you use on both the unit itself and also in haptic? Thank you. I also have some problem that the sound of the engine dosent come out off the vr headset.. but other sounds does.. Do you know what might be the reason? Br Nicolai

This looks like something I’d love to have. Do you have a chair recommendation for using with msfs? Currently using a oak kitchen chair and as you can imagine, it’s not good for long flights! Lol

Great video, I just bought the Buttkicker 2 last week and loving it. I wasn’t aware there was other software to drive it though. Must try it. I use the Y lead from my sound card one to my speakers and the other to the Buttkicker. Would the software mentioned in your Simshaker Software Tutorial work with my setup like that please?

Can you please explain how you use the external USB soundcard.. I have the same UGREEN but confusion how to setup an additional sound card dedicated to the Buttkicker. I am using a Varjo Aero headset as default sound but when I do this there is no signal from the USB soundcard. Thanks

Ive been using Butkicker since it first came out must be over 15 years now maybe, but my BK 130 amp recently stopped working, I could get a used amp for $70 or but the gamer plus, not sure if there is that much difference ?

The gamer plus is the same transducer as the mini LFE... I'm not sure what you bought originally but this is the smallest transducer they make and it's been used for a long time. You probably won't get much benefit there.

This Makes me wonder why we dont newer versions of force feedback on mainstream joysticks/yokes. The racing community is ages ahead of us.

Could you combine a buttkicker with a motion platform like NLR V3? Would enhance each device or would that be a waste/redundant?

Hi all. I love my BK, totally worth it and greatly increases the immersion especially with the aftermarket software to tune the effects. Know however that. the amplifier that comes with it can overheat with long use in warmer rooms and shut down, so I bought a $15 usb-powered 120mm fan that is plugged into my powered usb hub and it keeps the BK amp totally cool on longer sessions.

I use the Buttkicker 2 Gamer. I was experiencing heating issues and shutdown of the Buttkicker. I followed up with the supplier who indicated it was normal to heat up. I now ensure the clipping light doesn’t come on to avoid the shutdown issue.

Add a usb fan to it and shouldn’t have the shutdown problem anymore.

Huge difference. A subwoofer just sends Soundwave through the air. This Butkicker is attached to the base of your seat, and so you FEEL the vibrations! Like when engine RPM increased, or flaps go down and the aircraft rumbles and vibrates with turbulence, or when you feel the kick when the gears go down

I love my Buttkicker. I have the GAMER 2. I would love the upgrade to this one but that is a lot of money to spend. Maybe Christmas time they will have it on sale. It is interesting you talked about getting that external sound card. I use my internal and I have never had a problem using the buttkicker and getting the game sounds.
