I've always preferred the 15" models. You'll still get better performance out of a 15.6" laptop with the same spec due to more space for either battery or cooling.

I got a 3070 with a I7 which is relatively a latest gen CPU chip for £760 and it works absolutely flawlessly at 1080p with all the latest games.👍👌✌️

Studio laptops require 1440p or higher, and the one at BestBuy is FHD+, so it's not good enough for the studio sticker. It's a surprise to me that the US gets the cheaper SKU this time around.

Late reply, I have this laptop, when its white it means the GPU isn't being used. Usually if your doing an intensive task like gaming or using photoshop then it turns on the GPU for better performance and turns orange.

@@Afrojaw329 I didn't as I read the reviews and it's not made for playing games (thermals) so the next affordable device was ROG Zephyrus G14 on ebuyer for £1336 (it's still on sale atm), only £150 difference but it's a gaming laptop. I thought about it but didn't get that one either. Decided to wait another year.

I disagree. I got the Stealth 14 a week ago, I was told I'm probably the first person in the country to buy it retail. 13700H is one of the best processors you can fit in a 14" without throttling, and it works perfectly for my coding requirements. It's on par with the 7940HS in most tasks even if it might sip a bit more power. I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but the 4050/4060 GPUs in games do not even consume more than about 100W due to a voltage limitation placed by Nvidia. So the 90W 4060 performs pretty close to a full TDP 4060 and is perfectly fine for my gaming needs. I think only the 4070 would majorly benefit from 100W+ TGP. The speakers and the 100% P3 display is awesome for multimedia and general web browsing. The only part that sucks is the portability - it's rather heavy for a 14" and the battery life isn't the great, especially if you have to lug around that 240W brick - USB PD charging does not work great on this laptop at all. But this is amazing for a work and play laptop. The Alienware X14 R2 and Blade 14 aren't out yet, while the G14 has been quite difficult to get if you want a particular SKU (at least in my country). So MSI definitely has a market here. My previous laptop was a HP Envy (2021) with a 1135G7 (45W) and a 1650 Ti Max Q. For just 300gms more, I am getting 3-4x the CPU and GPU performance without being limited to 16GB RAM.

@@prajaybasu completely agree with you. I have a 2021 Asus Zephyrus G14 with a 3050 Ti. I use it for work and gaming. It does both things flawlessly, running games at 1080p high to max settings. A 4060 in comparison would give probably 50-80% better performance, even more with DLSS 3 and frame gen.

No, absolutely not. I bought it for gaming and developer work. Wouldn't buy it if it was not 240Hz. It can do 240Hz in esports games easily. In my quick start guide/manual there is a reference to an OLED model which they might launch later.

Everythings are more expensive in Europe and in the Uk. With Same price I can buy 4060 in the US and in China

@@prajaybasu yeah the 40 series up until the 4080 gets abysmal frame gains from higher wattage in comparison to the 4080 and 4090. High wattage 3080ti can outperform a high wattage 4070 across a lot of laptops.

the whole reason the 4050-70 cards were built is to market their amazing power efficiency, basically so they could market the 40 serious entry cards in cheaper more affordable laptops than the 4080-90 with less wattage and the latter is meant to market towards an audience with higher budget and since those cards don't have any wattage restrictions at least not as bad to manipulate the market lmao, it's quite smart actually.
