Again, this compilation is one more Expression of our sincere Gratitude to Creative Genius Mellisai Mannar MSV & his entire Team and all those Legends worked with him, viz., T K Ramamoorthy, TMS, SUSHEELA, Kannadasan and Vaalee, on the occasion of his 9th Obituary Anniversary Day for giving us such invaluable treasures that really stir our nerves and help us keep going amidst any odds that we may be undergoing in our life, enjoying and experiencing such Timeless songs that stay in our heart, soul, vibes and mind. My sincere Thanks to Mr Vijayakrishnan Sir, Convenor of MMFA, for translating my Thoughts & ideas into a reality devoting his valuable time amidst his busy schedules. There are 3 versions of the song "Pachai maram ondru". The one mentioned by you is the 3rd version. I chose the 2nd one savouring that fantastic change in the Rhythm Pattern and Susheela's supremely Sweet voice. She's really a Nightingale gifted to us by God.

Those Creations came from his heart as pointed out by many learned musicians. He connected each song situation as if they occured in a real life and was able to correlate it stepping himself into the shoes of those onscreen characters. Probably, that could be the reason we got such mind-boggling compositions from him that keep haunting us seamlessly.

Thanx Sir. All are my favourites and Chendoor Murugan Koyilile is my most favourite. What a brilliant Music Score and wonderful Music Tones from the Very Opening till the End adding further Glory to Nightingale Susheela's Expressive Singing! It's a fantastic song Sir. Even now, I am able to recall the electrifying effect the song made when I heard it in the Theatres watching that movie during my teens and early 20's. The whole Film Shanthi saw a fabulous Music Score by Viswanathan-Ramamurthi to Kannadasan's Lyrics as the film had an interesting plot and screenplay.

This greatest music director is a genuine sent by the goddess Saraswathy. There is no parallel and comparisons. For all all genres, he is the true Master, his music 🎶 🎵 talks, he doesn't. For others, their music doesn't, hence they talk for survival. That's all.

@mmfamellisaimannarfansasso231 What others meant by is, other petty music directors. Even his successor is 25 years junior as a music director. When MSV made his debut in 1951/1952, he was only 24. As a matter of fact, his uncredited debut would be in 1948, with the song of Puthu Vasanthamamae, but he was musically 🎼 generous to his Mentor SMS. So since 1948, he he has been musically ruling. The 1976's debutant never impact ed MSV'S dominance in the late 70's, as he grabbed V.Kumar's due films only. So MSV'S long stand in this field even statistically higher than the others. His private theme music 🎶 which used to be RadioCeylon Pongum Poompunal program, which can be discussed elaborately discussed at the MMFA, for the information of young generations. Again, MSV is the greatest and one & only. We appreciate the endeavours of MMFA and the team of his fans. Thanks.

@raathikanadarajah6872 You got it right . When MSV was active much earlier TR Papa recorded that he saw MSV as 14 year old boy in Kannaki recording (1942) . MD SVV said MSV 's brilliance he made out during Kannaki RR Abhimanyu which had vasanthamamey was in the year 1948 TMS said MSV taught him first song in TFM which was from film Krishna Vijayam (Year 1950 ) So active music years spread from 40 s to late 80s though he was active till 2013 for sure

எம்எஸ்வி ஐயா 1950-80 காலகட்டத்துக்கு ஒரு இசைப்பிறவியாக வந்தவர்! அவரிடம் இசைப்பணியாற்றிய அநேக கலைஞர்களின் வாயிலாக அவரின் இசை எனும் உயிர்பற்றி அறிவோம்! அவரின் இசைப்பு முறை தற்போது ஒரு 50 வயதைக் கடந்தோரை மயங்கவே வைத்துள்ளதெனலாம்!யதார்த்தமான,நிதானமான தாள லயங்களில் கிரங்க வைத்தவர்!அவரின் இசை மனது பிரதானமாக ஹரிகாம்போஜி,நடபைரவி,சாருகேசி,சிந்து பைரவி,கரஹரப்பிரியா,மாயாமாளவ கௌளை,சக்ரவாகம்,சிவரஞ்சனி,நீலமணி போன்ற ராகங்களால் ஆக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதோ என தோன்றுகிறது! அவர் புகழ் அழியாதது !மெல்லிசை தெய்வம்!அவர் அருளால் எவரோ மறுபடியும் அவதரித்து அவர் தந்த இசையின்பத்தை தர வேண்டும்!அவரின் ஒரு ரசிகன்!

Nicely commented. Yaman Kalyan Hamir Kalyani, Tilang, Desh, Bagesree, Dharbaari Kaanada, Dharmavathi, Pahadi, Madhyamavathi, Brindavana Saarangaa, Revathi, Hamsanandhi and Shubha PantuvaraaLi are also among his favourites as I have observed it. And surprisingly, he also composed songs in Raagaas like Vaasanthi, Kundhala varaaLi, Kurinji, Amrudhavarshini, PantuvaraaLi l, Kalyana Vasantham Chandra Kauns, Shuddha Saaveri, Moganam, KeeravaNi, Sumanesa Ranjani and BowLi. But, he hardly displayed it or trumpeted up. Perhaps, as I had observed, he felt shy of highlighting them in public. Sometimes, he pretended to be innocent asking people working around him what's this Raagaa, what's that Raagaa, but, actually he knew many things though he didn't want to expose his knowledge publicly with everyone. Notwithstanding this, his penchant and forte were for composing tunes out of his sheer natural instinct to a given situation or a given lyric. That's what made him special as his power of imagination was something phenomenal and his tunes had a life & energy and stirred our nerves.

0:03 வணக்கம். அருமையான பதிவு. எதை எடுப்பது எதை விடுவது. அன்றைய காலகட்டம்....சினிமா பாட்டா.....?! எங்கு சென்று கேட்க வசதி. மேலும்,,அன்று புகழப்பட்ட அரசியல்வாதிகள் சினிமாவை கருவியாக உபயோகப்படுத்தும் காலகட்டம். அந்த சூழ்நிலையில் இப்படிப்பட்ட படைப்புகள். எல்லோருக்கும் இசைந்து கொடுத்தாலும்?! இசையை மட்டும் தன் மூச்சாக நினைத்ததால், அந்த "lakshman rekha"விலிருந்து சற்றும் விலகாது மெல்லிசையை மெய்மறக்கா இசை 0:03 யகப்படைத்த "நாலாவது-மூர்த்தி."" .இந்த ஒலிநாடாவின் தலைப்பு சற்று யோசிக்க வைக்கிறது."நினைவில் நின்றவை",இவ்வளவு தானா என்று. ஆனால் படைத்தவனையே நினைவு கொண்டுள்ளோம் என்பதால் இந்த யோசனை தேவையில்லை. மன்னரின் இசையோடு சேர்ந்து வாழ்ந்தால்தான், இந்த மாதிர் ஒலிப்பேழை கள் வெளிவரும். S Sir. Whatever caption we intend to give, a few samples will not fit into it as the number of any such compositions of MSV is a colossal one. And we can't accommodate the water flow of Ganges within a short glass. The caption I originally gave was "Nenjil niraindhavai". Even then, the same question will arise in our mind whether only this much songs are Nenjil niraidhavai. 😊👍 Any way, now, Sri VK has changed it Sir acceding to my wish. ThanQ Sir.

👍Of course, Not in some, but in many cases Sir ! : ☺️ Paartha Niyabagam illaiyO 2nd Version is even more captivating with that change in Rhythm and BGM capturing that Thrill & Suspense. There are many 2nd versions that carry the stamp of MSV's creativity & wonderful imagination and those songs happened to lift those situations to a new height. That's why I highlighted in my short intro speech that there are too many, but we share only a few gems here as a Token Tribute to MSV on his 9th Obituary Anniversary Day. 👍 Actually I had prepared 2 or 3 Sets of Songs and finally settled to this one. I intend to present the rest later at an opportune moment Sir.

Both are quite different. Probably, may be, the sound and the metre of those particular opening phrases "uravu endroru sol irundhaal" and "nenjathile nee Netru vandhai" gives you such a feeling. But, both are of different tunes and different tempo which we can notice when we listen to these songs completely as those two travel on different terrains though the Take off may tend to give you such a perception.

Yes Sir, Some times the Lyrics also vary, and some times the Lyrics remain the same. I missed out to highlight that aspect and by the time I realised it, it was too late for me to incorporate any amendment and hence I left it as it is. (Especially, Vaalee's Modified Lyrics for the same tune in place of Bharathi-dasan's Thamizhikkum amudhendru paer is totally brilliant.) Moreover, I concurrently felt the variation in the Lyrics in some of those songs is quite tangible to a common listener compared to the subtle variations in the music nuances. That's also a reason I left it as it is. Thank You Sir for your feedback.
