I “watched” this while writing narratives at work. And by watched I mean I was listening to the music and voice over. Nice job none the less!

Love this video. My wife (before our marriage) and I did this trail on Columbus Day weekend a few times in the 1980’s. Brings back great memories!

You had a great day for it. Lovely yellow foliage throughout. It's a great winter hike too since it doesn't gain much elevation until the last couple miles (though it does add four miles which is less fun by the end of the hike). Carrigain rarely disappoints.

Thanks for watching! I accidentally filmed it in 2.7k, and it hasn’t upgraded to better quality yet, so I apologize it looks like it was filmed with a potato. Luckily Sawyer River Road is still open so I didn’t have that added mileage to deal with this time. I do want to see it in winter though - it would be stunning!

I was surprised that the leaves are still hanging on, though I like the late fall rustic look anyways..

I had to bring out my compass and my trail map out a few times on this hike. Great hike with my son August 2020. Signal Ridge is awesome.

Having hiked Carrigain via Signal Ridge, and reviewing the map and trail description ahead of time, one would know about trail re-routes and old forest roads to be expected to avoid being confused by them. Thank you for the views!

It would help to closely review, though not completely as those areas don’t have blazes consistently at all. Easy enough to determine without having to stare at navigation, though on a winter day breaking trail I would be more careful. Thanks!
