I bought this unit 2 weeks ago after watching TDubs Kid do a review. The pricing on this video can be confirmed, and the unit is indeed well made and very comprehensive. It has heft and does not feel cheap in the hand. It works quickly and fairly accurately. My RPM reading was about 100 RPM off of my gauge. Totally worth the money!

Nice! I've been using a generic bluetooth OBD2 scanner with the Torque app for at least a decade. Might be time to upgrade to something like this!

You know for how much it costs and what it does its a good deal, plus the free updates for life is huge. Most scanners after 2 years they start costing money. This one is really good. It pretty much reads everything. Not sure if you saw in the video, but it even accesses the scale in the Honda seat !!!

Honestly I regret buying it . I purchased the 28 reset functions and It was a dummy .the total reset I got for $78 .customer service is trash ,they couldn't make immobiliser functions sas tpms and othe reset functions work on my toyota highlander after I complained.

Without that 4 main system upgrade, it is just ELM327 for 5USD.

Hey thanks for the comment, I think it is better as its still got the screen and you don't have to get an app for it to work in the base mode, but information, you are right its going to give you similar results. It's that 50 buck upgrade that really makes it deal.

Hey there and thanks for the comment, I don't believe it will do BMS battery management. For its price its the best scanner I have found so far that will read and reset a ECM, ABS, and SIR, but not for BMS battery management.

Hi, If I get the basic level without purchase the extra software / features , What I can scan and erase error ? Can I scan ABS, Air Bags, Transmission include the engine ?

Hey Thanks for the comment, I think you need the xtra for ABS, Air Bags and transmission. With the basic package it will act like a normal scanner, but will be limited, you can't get the rest without upgrading. Even with upgrading, the device is super cheap for what it will do.

Hey Thanks for the comment. It can, but I found that different vehicles had different live data streams. If your vehicle supports trans temp, it should read it. Its a fantastic scanner for the price. Now for the transmission temps you most likely have to do the 50 upgrade so it can read the transmission module, without the 50 upgrade its limited to the ECM (engine control module) which probably does not have the trans temp.

Hey there, no go on that one. You are going to have to spend more for one that does brake service. This one will read and reset pretty much everything, but brake service no, you are starting to get into bi-directional with that, and those cost quite a bit more.

Nope I don't believe so, as this scanner reads and resets, but to release the electric handbrake you need bi-directional control. You need to connect to wifi for the updating, its quite simple but wifi is required. I would think that you could even hotspot from you phone (but I have not tried that) I just use the house wifi.

While I can't confirm 100% I would think it would as Audi A4 is OB2 so the standards are the same.

Yep for engine check light you should not have to upgrade. But you will not have enhanced features. If it’s just to read the code and reset you should be ok

Hey there, its not bi-directional so it can't do that. It can read pretty much everything and reset codes, but it can't activate the bleeding process for ABS. For the price it does a lot.

@@GarageKing actually it does nothing just reads codes... You cant bleed abs, learn, force regen dpf... So its quite pricy for reader only

The one thing I liked was that in addition to the codes you really could get a lot of data that cheaper code readers don't provide (like graphing) so the price as a basic code reader I thought it was very well priced. @@PokeSleepDeals I just noticed that the US link is not working. Where ever you buy it from, I think you can upgrade on wifi once you fire it up. I believe you can do it right on the scanner.

Przykro mi to słyszeć, ten skaner działał dla mnie świetnie, jak widać na filmie. Działało w kilku samochodach. Za tę cenę myślę, że jest świetny, pomyśl o tym jak o kilku pizzach, jest naprawdę tani za to, co robi.
