Why does the locomotive's boiler have snow on it? Shouldn't it be hot?

It's battery-powered. Not a live steam engine.

@@07461snowshoe Yes of course I realize that but you appear to be going for realism. Sorry but I'm extremely detail oriented. I can't watch movies because all I see are the faults. It's not a lot of fun being me. 🙂

It's all good. I don't go for realism as it's impossible to do outdoors. I'm far from a fine scale modeler. I just do it for fun and for myself.

@@derekdurst2146 actually it’s possible for a steam locomotive to have snow on it without melting, the snow acts as an insulator. Same as an igloo with fire inside.
