I'd really recommend you check out the book series by Anatoly Fomenko "History : Fiction or Science?" He proves that the first 1000 years of history after Christ are invented and much more information that you may find very interesting.

I applaud any legitimate consideration as to how we landed here so please do not think I am crapping on your idea because that is not my intention. In this case, I disagree though. For the past hundred plus years, every war in this world appears to have actually been a war on the arcitecture rather than a war between nations. I think fire coming down from God out of heaven and consuming them is talking about a great awakening. God is described as a consuming fire. What a more total and complete defeat of Satan could their be than for all the people he deceived to have their eyes opened, turn from Satan and worship the Most High. Total defeat for Satan and a glorious victory for Yahuah. I think we are seeing the beginnings of that now.

It’s very vague - the release of Satan. What if it’s a repeat of the great tribulation with the resurrection of the anti Christ (prob Nero) through something like cern? It still ends with Satan (and anti christ and false prophet) marching his army and being defeated. But there is room, per scripture, for a similar situation of what happened in the past.
