@NatureIntoAction Those are great ideas. I am curious if you use a sinking fly line or just use a regular weight forward line?

This was a great video David, thanks for sharing! Looked like an awesome trip, for sure. It is so beautiful in there, an amazing place to explore. Would have been cool to run into you guys out there, we just missed you by a day or so.

Another great trip, the quality of the water in each of the ponds was amazing, and represented in the quality of the fish everyone caught. As always great information on wild edibles as well.

Long overdue, but extremely satisfying. If you can believe I just returned from my spring trip and absolutely hammered brook trout and walleye. I found a new spot that is easier to fish than any other spot I've been to. I think Kelly would be floored if he could find dome time to come back and hit this spot next spring. Three different lakes all within 500 yards of one another. 7lb walleye, 4lb brook trout..nuts. Only a few hours portaging. Also found fiddle heads, trout lilly's, ramps, and chaga mushroom along the way. I'll send you some photos in next couple days. Thanks for sharing your adventure, David - always a real treat, especially the underwater and wild edibles parts.

That sounds like heaven. Hope to see photos. What length abt for the 4# brookies.
@MichealBacon3 ай бұрын
@@NatureIntoAction I didn't measure any of them. But I've caught many 4-6lb brook trout and would estimate around 20" based on how it was folded up in the net

@@NatureIntoAction Me also ! I’m thinking of working in some kind of multi day trip to the Adirondacks in perhaps June, I’d love to hit Lows Lake again, if the lower dam isn’t complete yet, there’s a carry of a couple miles just north of it, there’s a lot of options up there !
