ghostform is one of the best ways to protect muldrotha and she is a lightningrood for removel.

Kaya's Ghostform? Without combos it's definitely still extremely good. That word 'exile' really makes it a good protection spell.

Mistakes were made here Kaya ghost form lets you go infinite with moldrotha in a multitude of ways with a sac outlet. double etb effects on dorks protection for mold. You dont need phyrexian altar if you have lotus petal but it goes real infinite if you do. Seal of removal is an allstar its cheap removal that can be abused every turn with moldrotha out, the threat of activation every turn cycle means you can react to your opponents save moldry from targeted removal etc etc. Blood artist affects are just okay like you said we are a self mill deck we arent going to win with damage from blood artist. Moldy is aristocrat adjacent but it isn't one i would cut them.

Okay, all good tips as always, but I love the little back and forth you have on Doom Whisperer. "Oh, don't worry about it, who on Earth is gonna pay thirty life?" I answered immediately, "Me." Seriously, any deck I've ever built would pay thirty life if there were a payoff that fit the commander, like Doom Whisperer for Muldrotha. A win is a win, whether I'm at one life or one hundred.

I actually JUST pulled a full art foil Muldrotha from my 2XM box, lol. I had a spare Women's Day Meren I tucked in as well and decided to build her. Good timing boys.

It's funny that you cut Jarrad's Orders because I put it in on your recommendation 3 years ago and cut it for Buried Alive. With some T1 ramp you can Buried Alive T2 for combo pieces and dredge creatures. One of the best setups you can perform. Also I just want to say if you're playing ANY MDFC lands, and you should have Bala Ged Recovery and Agadeem's Awakening for sure, then one bounce land is a really good complement. Play Agadeem's Awakening to bring back your board>>play Agadeem the Undercrypt as a tapped land>>play a bounce land so you can Agadeem's again. Value baby!

W for Hudson! Also, the infinite is 4 cards as it requires Mikaeus, Muldrotha, Kaya’s Ghostform, and Pitiless Plunderer. The nice thing about Ghostform is it also refreshes Muldrotha, so I can play a bunch more cards from the grave again. But I love the upgrades guys! I very much look forward to torturing my playgroup with this new deck ;) Thank you so much!

16:20 the only place i would recommend varragoth is in a vaevictis asmadi the dire deck because then it becomes 5 mana tutor whatever you want onto the battlefield

I need Seal of Removal! It's a quick free reusable unsummon. I've been using an artifact on MTGA but it cost 1U+sac to activate. It's free defense and one of the only ways to defend against certain win cons. Kaya's Ghostform is one of the best protection spells and Muldrotha needs it. It can also protect plainswalkers and even brings them back after they spend al l their loyalty so they can be activated again! Of course it can also help combo with cards included in your deck but it's been randomly useful in strange situations I couldn't foresee unless I had it when I needed it.

Dredge cards are some of my favorite in the game. I wish there was even more of it.

Only disagreement is with seal of removal. That card always gains value by bouncing op commanders that immediately affect the board like paco, prosper, jetmir etc.

Mikaeus + Altar + anything with persist. My chosen favorite is Glen elandra. Have almost unlimited counterspells and doubles as a great alternate win-con.

Excellent video definitely a commander I want to build. I'd like to add Spore frog to this deck.. I know The NN aren't big on fog effects or frogs apparently, but in my opinion it is too cool of a synergy to leave out.

11:01 I actually kept Angel of Suffering in my deck due to my local meta, lots of combat spell slinging decks around and it feels good to tank and self-mill my way to victory (one time, taking 30 damage... milling 60... defiinitely won there)

Isn't one of the points of Kaya's Ghostform that you can enchant a planeswalker you need to keep around, and with Muldrotha out you can recast it from the graveyard at least once each of your turns to keep the planeswalker around?

Top cards for muldrotha in my opinion: dauthi void walker, phantasmal image, kayas ghostform, mesmeric orb, journey to eternity, underealm lich, pernicious deed, world shaper, greater good.... The list of goes on. Some fun cards to try: metamorphic alteration abusing the leg. Rule as removal and later beefing up a woodelves. Lower power pendrell Flux. And elemental resonance as ramp(you can enchant opponents big permanents, that you anyways want to die, so it can be ramp or an instanive for your opponents to kill that stuff you are enchanting to.)

I built this deck when Muldrotha dropped. It's strong when everyone leaves you alone and beats up on each other. Once others know your plan they just kill you while you set up. It's just a tad too slow, but if you get set up you just win off of the value

hey, just two cents from someone who’s played shigeki, jukai visionary in a graveyard deck - because of the return to hand ability, and because it doesn’t have haste, i’ve found shigeki to be really really slow. it ends up being 2 mana, wait a turn, 2 mana, mill three and get a land, 2 more mana, pass turn, and repeat. it’s fine late game if you need a mana sink, and the channel ability can be really nice sometimes, but i can’t imagine muldrotha needs a mana sink as much as my stupid little nethroi deck did since you can actually use muldrotha to cast from the graveyard, and there are plenty of cards better than shigeki for the channel ability. it’s flexible, and it’s fun to play with - i’d definitely consider running it, if it seems fun to you, and seeing if it works well in your deck - but i actually ended up cutting it from my deck in order to put skull prophet in, which i’ve found almost always does what i would want shigeki to do faster and without as much mana. that’s just what i think, but obviously my commander is different than yours, and the nerds do have good points - just something i felt like bringing up. :)

I’ve actually found that I don’t like ThOracle, because I’m milling myself out by dredging, so it’s hard to get my deck to exactly zero without drawing more. I actually do run Lab Man, instead.

Generally good cuts, but cutting Seal of Removal was bad advice. Also Angel of Suffering can be good depending on the meta, if beatdown is a legit threat then the card gets much better. It is basically a thing you can play from your yard that prevents you from being attacked.

I find self mill decks pretty boring, its just not something i find enjoyable. I found some of these hilarious because as a permanent based deck you were switching them out for sorceries and instants. I did love your recommendation for shugeki didnt even think about slapping that in

Taking Kaya's Ghostform out of a muldrota deck is flat out wrong. Bloodgasht and nether traitor are leagues worst cards in that deck.
