Multi Deployment QSP Penguin Plus: Evolution of the Penguin. The Original Penguin was super popular because it came in at a very affordable price while still being a simple and well made knife. Even though many love it's original size some people always wanted a bigger version so here it is. They hit all the size groups with the new mini , the original and now the plus size Penguin. I agree with you on the $175 price - I am hoping they do a micarta and/or G10 version with 14C28N or Nitro V steel for a lot less $ - if so I'm on it! I ❤️ my Penguins for cutting up cardboard boxes for ♻️ I don't cut up food with them because of the cutting board issue you mentioned.

Definitely hoping for a budget line. I have the qsp hawk with copper foil carbon fiber and those scales are awesome.

I recently I recently picked up the original size with the carbon fiber scales. I like it a lot. I did put a 20 degree edge on it, and it was an improvement. Wouldn’t mind picking up the larger one at some point.

Great review Stass. I was contemplating getting the original penguin but when the larger one was announced with multi-deployment, I waited. Based on your review and the price point, I'll pick up the original at the lower price point.

Think you're aiming a bit high on that amount my guy lol. Most knife reviewers get knives sent to them for review. He's definitely coming up and love his channel though.

@@ProfesorFrodoJSchitz Yes. But again look at channels that are bigger like Neeves or Metal Complex. They don't own or buy every single knife they review. In fact they show their entire collection like Metal Complex. He has reviewed thousands of knives at this point and he's shown his actual collection. And even then he did buy them all.
