Thank you so much for posting this, the instructions that went with the opener were not useful and this video helped me solve my problem.

Multi-Code and Linear, from what I've seen, have been the staple in universal radio controls for many years, and still are in some areas. Back when there were more brands around than Chamberlain and OHD (and their counterparts), other brands either came with a Linear DT, or a Multi-Code 1089/3089. My personal preference is for the previous generation of 3089. Thanks for posting this! :-)

Remember open is an open circuit or off state

They change the numbers bar from top to bottom

My apartments use these on our gate, didn't know how to open the damn thing to fix my neighbors xD

Multi Code 3089 Remote Control

Mine isn't working I haven't touched the code the battery been changed can I reset it then put the code back on ?

My gate code in my building is only 8 digits according to management. Can I use the Multi Code that has 10 settings ?
