Darktide is a masterpiece with it's graphics, sound fx, music, theme etc. Sure there are things I'd like to see improved, but it's gotta be in the top 3, if not the best, Warhammer licensed games.

I also wanted to get Darktide since im a big fan of said coop genres (300 hrs in Vermintide and about 700 in L4D series), but many people say that Darktide should just cook a bit more like Vermintide did, for about 2 years. i have almost 200 hours in darktide and i still learned something from this video (give stuff to teammates, mutant will always throw if youre against a wall, dodge backwards to cancel chain attacks). thanks!

akcthually, the snipers dont have that sound cue UNLESS you are playing the many many many snipers modifier. the cool thing about the sniper is you will see the red laser FIRST and then you are given a chance to dodge when a sound cue plays as he's about to shoot. they did a cool audio/video reverse with sniper. every other specialist you will hear before you can spot them (or you can hear the snipers walk around but its not that loud and can be confused at first with the bomber's walking sounds)

Great video. I love this game. Bought it day one and I'm 850 hours deep. It still needs content updates but if Vermintide 2 is anything to go by with it's 6 year life cycle and the devs still updating it I have no doubt FS will continue to improve on what is already a rock solid co-op shooter. Hard to explain what it is exactly that makes me sink hours into Darktide on a daily basis but it scratches an itch that very few games do. Hopefully you've convinced more players to give this one a go. It's playerbase isn't anything to brag about because the launch was rocky and most have given up on it but a year after release and with a 35-40€ price tag there is little reason to sleep on it. The Emperor protects.

my very first game, i picked ogryn, i was rounding the corner of the library in the deep archives mission when a beast of nurgle rounded the corner and i was by myself. needless to say, I got my shit rocked but not before throwing many many boxes at it
