I love a home tour so I thought I'd share our apartment with you! We are just beginning to put our house together so we have rental furniture, a bean bag chair, a propane tank in the kitchen, and construction next door. So glamorous and we love it!

This dirtier version of New York is home to 93+ billionaires which more than Beijing. This dirtier version of New York has less gun violence, less harassment in public transport, homelessness, petty or serious crimes, racism, drug addicts compared to cleaner version of New York. In India every 50km local slang and food habits change. Hope you'll have good time in this part of India.

tbh the BMC is horrible for being the financial capital, mumbai is in a bad state - no need to get so offended by this there's a reason ppl look for gated communities coz the municipality is horrid if we don't acknowledge this, we won't ever get around to solving it.

Actually Bombay / Mumbai may be “dirtier” version externally of New York, but internally there are so many places that are much better an opulent even more than New York. Including office Decor and I am referring to office Decor way back in 1989 😊. But both Bombay and New York have energy and vibrancy which is why many Bombayites / Mumbaikars love New York …

Reminds me of time when we moved to NYC from India in 1999. Had a minimalist lifestyle… but that’s the time me and my wife reminisce a lot about… because that was an “adventure” which we enjoyed every minute of it.

Small apt? 30+ yrs in the states and lemme assure you... having owned apts and homes etc. [edit] Esp NYC apts. You don't know what small is unless you pay $2800 for a cooped up studio! ('91 Upper East side, but yes it was across across Gracie Mansion-- NYC mayoral residence i.e. w a view)

Pretty interesting to look at reverse experience, I travel to US frequently so it's fairly interesting. Make sure to share your husbands views too, food sacrifices or new acquired tastes etc. Just for your note, Tier 2 cities in India have lot more comfortable houses and very unlike Mumbai.

U can visit south India u can see variety of different foods temples heritage and culture especially Kerala and Tamil Nadu it's amazing Kerala, munnar, kochi, wayanad, Ooty, Kodaikanal, coimbatore, manglore, Gokarna, Coorg, Bangalore, Mysore, Alleppey, Udupi the world heritage site tanjavur bruhadeeshwara temple tamilnadu and palani temple tamilnadu here the god idol is made up of different types of ayurvedic medicines when we pour any liquid on idol it absorbs the medicinal properties and we drink the liquid we don't get any diseses

Mumbai properties, flat are expensive. And due to less space they make small flats room & High building. 5:44 why don't they make new building there, it's looking too old. Anyways, India is developing country don't expect USA, European standard of houses here.

@@gogadev It's not much about apartment size. It is about interior look, design, and facilities. Average Western flats and houses are made more modern since their per capita income is much higher than India.

Yo! What are you gonna do there? Might get boring. Hope you have activities to do to keep yourself busy. I stayed in Pune for 5.5 years (close to Mumbai). Everything was just like it is there: basic.
