he has so many people that didnt have much of a following but below up in the time in between. Danny Brown, Joe Rogan(pre spotify deal), awkwafina. anthony bourdain will be the goat in tv/food scene for showing different cultures. but respectfully eddie huang, action bronson, and matty matheson are some greats giving it their own twist. eddie shows was different from anything back in 2015. eddie deserves his flowers. this show couldve easily gotten an emmy.

Sometimes VICE can be pretty hit or miss but I gotta say, Eddie Huang kills it and this NYC series killed it. I've lived in NYC my entire life and Eddie really captures what it's like to live here spot fucking on

i love what the guy at 17:50 said. apart from being a funny twist on a classic lyric, "If i can make it there, I'm gonna make it, anywhere" from the song "new york, new york," its also true because once you learn what life is like in New York City, no other city will ever do. nothing compares to it. it is unique, grandiose, poetic, prosaic, and, cliched, as it sounds, inspiring. it is home.
