Maguire is a warrior what a player when he’s on form. He’s underachieved, if Maguire plays his best snooker not many will fancy playing him, he’s a powerful player and can blast you off the table.

Making wrong decision. Only fist pump when you've won! Can't wait for this match this morning. Reminds me of when the GOAT Stephen Hendry beat Ronnie O'Sullivan at the crucible! Huge grudge match! We need more in Snooker!

@@user-if7rq3qd5u How exactly is Hendry so great ? Lets remember the standard he had to play back when he won so many titles the only real competitors he had was Davis and White. Ronnie won most of his titles with a much stronger field with so many top players that can win it any day just to name a few Trump, Wilson, Higgins, Selby, Williams, Robertson, Allen, Murphy the list goes on and on. So in conclusion he was a great player for the opponents he had to face, did he have any of the type of opponents I mentioned he would definitely not have won much or ANY. Ronnie is the greatest player of all time 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

@@user-if7rq3qd5u Clueless. When i know GOAT Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Stephen Hendry most times and have won more than Hendry that couldn't get past the 90s. He lead Hendry 9-4 in finals, and beat Hendry 17-4 & 17-6 and made Hendry cry and wet his knickers.

When both players were being introuduced to the crowd by Rob Walker yesterday,it was Tom Ford who picked that Kasabian song. But Here I Go Again by Whitesnake is one of the best snooker player walk-on choices IMO (especially if it's the original 1982 version).

Stephen Maguire gets a medical release for not having to wear a neck tie as is the rules for everyone else. Why does he get a pass on the attire requirements that all others must comply with? If you're unable or incapable of abiding by the rules that are imposed on all the other players he should simply not be allowed to compete. He should be disqualified.

@@mattrange5439 I didn't notice! 😳 Thanks for pointing that out. I've actually seen referees intervene on violations of attire. Ding Junhui showed up for an event with his tan suit only to have make an urgent shopping trip for a black suit! 😂 Trying to preserve the culture I guess. Admittedly this is a small issue but just wanted to point out that rules should be applied equally across the board to all participants. Thanks again for correcting me. 👍 😊

Really disrespectful from Steve Davis to make a comment like that at 5:06, he knows the entire crowd have headsets and can hear him. Causing the audience to laugh when someone is about to pot match ball shows a real lack of respect.

What are you on about??!! He didn't cause the audience to laugh. They were possibly laughing at something that was said on the Eurosport commentary but it definitely wasn't what Steve said. As far as I know, when the audience get headsets, they can choose which commentary they want to listen to.
