Even knowing where the muscles are, having to recognize them on the plastic models for my anatomy lab exams is a whole different animal, so THANK YOU for making these videos.

Thank you for posting this!. I'm currently taking an accelerated Anatomy and Physiology class and this video trully helped me. Your video was very thorough in explaining the forearm muscles and tendons.

Awesome video! I love this and the dissection 23 videos from jono03. I am a cellist and a cello teacher, and am building an understanding of anatomy to help me refine my playing technique, recover from injury and help me become a better teacher. For a laugh, if you turn on the closed captions... you can learn about Paul Maris (long at us.) Dr. Fabian shows you not the muscle near the media leprechauns, but the tenant farmers, going down the middle of the farm by the flexor car pile merece.

I thank you so much for all of your ways of explaining the muscles and their Origin/ Insertion. Actually all of your models have helped me get through my summer crash course(6wks) in Anatomy!! I will not forget the PFPF clue to remember what the muscles are!!! On to reproduction models..........

It might be good to know that about 12% of people don't have a palmaris longus, so don't be alarmed if you can't find the tendon on yourself.

What's number 26 on the model? Another way to ask is at time 1:05 you can see the palmeris longus, the large one right down the middle. What is the tendon that's just below it? It's the one that seems to enter the hand partially underneath the palmeris longus. Thanks!

what is the white 12 over the wrist at 8:35 in the video? is that a tendon or just a stripe?

thank you this is very helpful. just one correction, while the extensor digitorum does not act on the thumb it how ever does act on all 4 fingers, little included. im sure you knew that, but this is for anyonewatching.
@twmd14 жыл бұрын
A little correction: It's the palmar fascia (or palmar aponeurosis) - the plantar is the foot.

Thank you, very good video; but you made a little mistake at the end when saying that "anconeus helps triceps flex the elbow". No problem, it's human.. Anconeus function is to unlock the elbow and help triceps extend it.
@Sam-gr1jn10 жыл бұрын
8:42 Mistake there, Anconeus muscle should be extending the elbow, not flexing
