Epic elevator buttons from other elevator buttons! The best one has to be the US Elevator panel. It was from the Elmwood Parking Garage and got modernized by Thyssenkrupp. In my world, it’s a 1.28 Madera. The US Elevator is a Standard Glenco. It was not a very good replacement choice. It might’ve been very sad for US Elevator fans. They could’ve gone with an hydraulic Otis Series 5 elevator. The best ones are definitely the vintage buttons. I like those a lot. But anyways, great video and keep up the good content Jim! [EDIT]: This is only for people who have watched this video for the first time.

At 7:30 Deve was a Swedish company bought by Schindler mid 90's . The writing on the panel is actually in Swedish .

If you want to see the GE meatball building elevators I may or may not be able to get in and give some footage. GE is right in downtown Schenectady. I even think the bus stops there.

I like the DEVE buttons best. They came from Sweden. The caption is in Swedish. "HISS för högst 630 kg toallast eller högst 8 personer" means "ELEVATOR for up to 630 kg freight or up to 8 persons", "NED" means "DOWN", "UPP" means "UP", "DÖRR" means "DOOR" and "NÖDSÄNK" means "EMERGENCY LEVELING".
