I hate to bring race into it, but it's so awesome that the Undisputed Queen of Rock & Roll was a Black Woman!! She did, indeed collaborate with so many White groups and Artists!!! In 1972 or 1973, she collaborated on the Album "Overnight Sensation" by Frank Zappa and the Mothers! Then in 1984, she's featured in the 2nd Mad Max movie with Mel Gibson!!!

Tina was the original girl power, she gave women hope and inspiration that they could be what they wanted to be, do what they wanted to do, and she lived life to the full, she kept pushing through and didn't let anything stand in her way, an amazing woman. R.I.P to an absolutely inspirational woman, heaven will be rocking tonight.

Heaven has another LEGEND, ICON, and SUPERSTAR. My Mom loves her, from when she sang Proud Mary to her as a Rock star with "Whats Love got to do with it" and "The Best". I am just so sad at this loss. She was AMAZING. RIP to a true Rock and Roll Queen.

One of the greatest entertainers of all time. These new artists need to study her because none of them could hold a candle to her stamina on stage. She worked a stadium like no other. The only artists I can think of that gave that much in live performances is Michael Jackson, Elvis or James Brown. That's why these people will live forever. She was a true icon.

Tina Turner truly embodied strong inner strength. To come out of a situation where she was physically, emotionally, and financially abused by her husband Ike Turner. To climb out of that to become one of the top artists in the world. Plus starting that resurgence as a woman in her mid 40's is an inspiration to everyone!!! RIP 🙏🏽🕊️😢

I saw Tina Turner in concert in the year 2000 when she was on her 60th birthday tour. She was amazing. I thought to myself, I hope I can be that sexy and vivacious when I am 60.
