Ooo...I love his version of Confessa! Especially the last line. "Whoever does not love, will never be loved." BTW he sang in 3 languages! Mandarin, Italian, and then Alien. 😂🤣😂

Fun fact: The diva dance was written to being "impossible to sing as a human" Dimash did a few alterations to the original melody. But they are pretty minor and weren't made to make it easier to sing, but to fit his voice better.

Just an interesting Dimash fact: He has a B.A. in Classical Opera Voice, an M.A. in Contemporary (jazz, pop, R & B) Voice, & an M.A. in Music Composition. Also, 20 years of intense voice training since the age of 5 & has perfect pitch. And, of course the vocal gift of a prodigy. Rare, unique, and beautiful in a Spiritual kind of way to me.

Great performance from the master. He also does diva dance from the bastau concert. Dimash is too good for competitions. I mean who could beat him. He cane in second on the singer 2017 I would assume due to respect to the other singer. Clearly he was a better singer and performer. To come in second on that show was a pretty big deal and honor. Dimash is hands down the best singer in the world. Great reaction.

Thank you for your reaction to Confessa and The Diva Dance. The Diva Dance is the song of the alien from the movie "The 5th Element". It was written to be very difficult and some parts were computerized and impossible for a (female) human to sing. There are female singes, who peform it with some changes, and Dimash is probably the only male singer. He has other great versions of the song - at the Bastau concert in Kazakhstan and at the Dragon Television Spring Gala in China.

What was confusing you at 8:40, I think this show low-shelved his sound in post production for some reason, that bass line is completely muted, as most of the three octave glissando he does a bit later. It's a shame. You can hear what he was doing in another version, from his Bastau concert.

I have loved binge watching all of your older Dimash reactions and others as well and this one is so much older now that you may never see this comment but I just wanted to mention that I appreciate that you also recognize the orchestra behind the artists that you react to a lot of the times, that doesn't in any way take anything away from the artist performing like some might think, they are also part of the performance and deserve to have credit given when they are as good as this one is. Dimash would probably say something similar as well and would also commend you for giving them recognition, if you have seen anything after some of his performances when the song is over, if he gets a chance to say anything, a perfect example is the video for Sinful Passion, he Always makes it a point to thank his band and gives them credit for the great job that they always do, he's very appreciative of all the people who help with his performances, he such a humble guy which I love about him, not a lot of people who have his level of talent are still humble and kind but Dimash is. You should watch some of his interviews at some point when you get a chance, I think you'd appreciate them as well.
