"I'll be you man" is a song that even BTOB said they didn't want to do on the show cuz it was too hard 😅 Han and Seungmin even made that final harmony note higher than original. BTOB are senior group known for their VOCALS AND HARMONIES!! They are amazing and so respected and loved by the Kids. You should watch their live content. Soooooo good!

In a nutshell, they lost the kid (the little boy died, past represented in black and white, also shown by the statue) whom they cherished. They went to heaven to see if they could close the gates and revive him, however heaven didn’t grant their wishes. They resorted to making a deal with the devil, and so at the end, the 8 sacrificed their souls to hell and the statue which represented the boy was brought back to life. This is PRETTY brief and there’s some fan references as well but that’s the basis!

i watch a lot of reaction videos and i have to say, no other reactor notices lee know as much as you do! and i appreciate you so much for that 😭

Hi Pete! Yeah that was Lee Know dancing and singing with Han. Bang Chan at first was singing after Seungmin and put the heart in hand of the boy's statue. That's why at the end this boy revived and hugged Chan. At the Felix's part, Felix sacrificed his heart for him...oh God my English is terrible...sorry Pete 😁. I hope you understood what I wanted to say....😊

Hyunjin wasn't in any of the Kingdom performances because he was on hiatus and Bang Chan was shown at 7:34 - 7:43 Also, Lee know doesnt get a lot of lines but when he does, he SLAYS. You are absolutely correct about him being good looking lmfao. Love how you had Bakc door playing in the backround when you weren't reacting to the performance lol. Maybe one day you could react to ATEEZ Pirate King MV?

Awesomeeeeeeee I love I’ll be your man - and love poem also hits you in the feels 💕💕💕

They explained the storyline of the song in the first episode of their kingdom week (prize for winning kingdom was their own like variety show thing)! BTOB’s version of Ill be your man was more based on a romantic setting! So since they didn’t feel like they could represent the song that way and still be in their style, they changed the woman in btob’s song to a child who they lost! So basically the statue in the beginning represents the kid that came in and hugged Chan at the end, while most people might think of it as the child having passed, i believe it’s actually that the child was turned into a statue, ultimately sending him to a different plane of existence. During the part in Changbins first rap, the white area behind him actually has a shadow of the child showing that the child is in like another plane of existence. And when changbins second rap comes in during the black and white part, it was symbolizing that stray kids (stray kids portrayed the man that was willing to sacrifice themselves to bring the child back into existence.) had entered the plane the child was in. (Hence why Changbin fell off the stairs, it was symbolizing him entering the child’s plane of existence.) Then hand and Lee knows part come in, the image in the background was actually the gates of hell. So at this point it’s showing that stray kids are planning to enter hell and sacrifice themselves in order to “save” the child. The gates open and in comes Felix’s part. Felix is the demon they sacrifice to. The part of them where they lift the thing in their hands (which is actually a heart) is them showing they sacrificed themselves to Felix (which is why Felix had the heart during the demon part before the dance break.) The pillars falling as they do the dance break I believe is their symbolism that they are now breaking out of hell in order to get their sacrifice (their heart) to the child’s statue, which was needed to free the child. And in the end (where they all fall) is where they finally die after sacrificing themselves for the child. (If you play close attention, during the high note section where they harmonize over changbin’s rap, you’ll notice that after they gave their heart to the statue, the statue disappears, symbolizing that their sacrifice was a success.) The child then comes and hugs Chan, I’m guessing to symbolize that the child will miss them but at the same time is grateful for their sacrifice to free him! Again I will stress that they did explain the performance during their first episode of kingdom week, so most of this explanation is just from my memory! (If you’d like to watch the explaination there are more than likely clips up on KZfaq, or you can find the English subbed version on strayksubs website!)

I'm not sure someone already mentioned that but... Changbin's last part during Seungmin's and Han's high note harmonies? In original song it was performed by 2 BTOB rappers and Changbin did it all by himself...

This is one of my favorite BTOB songs (been with them since debut) and BTOB and StrayKids are SUCH fanboys of each other and it just warms my heart!! BTOB’s Back Door was so good too lol. I love seeing the rxns from BTOB when Han sings…my boys were shook 🤣

Chan had the least lines in this performance. And yes, hyunjin was on hiatus at the time when Kingdom was airing. I'll have to rack my brain to try to remember the meaning behind this performance bcz it was back in April i think. All i remember is that in the original from BTOB, they said 'she/her or girl' whereas in stray kids version they changed to be gender neutral. they also made like friendship rings for this performance too. the 8th ring was for Hyunjin but since he was away, they used his ring and placed it on the statue.

I have never subscribed to someone on the first video I see, but gosh dang that subscribe song was real enticing. hahaha

SKZ turned I'll Be Your Man into a story about them losing the little boy in the statue. Then the next is all a sequence of their deals with the devil as they sell their soul to resurrect the little boy. In the end when Chan places the heart in the boy's palm, we see the STAY ring around his neck which is worn by all the members in this performance. Finally when the stage becomes all red again, the members have died and the boy is alive and is hugging Chan.

I recommend the song "MIXTAPE: OH" by stray kids, I also take the opportunity to let you know that on August 23, Stray kids have their comeback and they will release 14 songs, it would be great if you react to any of them when they are released.
