Jimin has studied modern dance, including ballet, traditional Korean dance and, of course, contemporary. Contemporary dancers always dance barefoot which is why Jimin does here. For uniformity (and because this is very much a contemporary dance vibe song), the boys go barefoot here too. Jimin will dance/practice barefoot anywhere he gets the chance, because he prefers barefoot; and when Jimin started dancing barefoot at practices, JK started liking it too so he sometimes does.

Jimin is surreal in his solo Black Swan performance in online concert. If you are interested pls watch. Yes there isn't much height difference betwen them. RM is tallest at 6 foot and Suga is the shortest but by just 3 inchea shorter than RM. When you see them live in concerts most muscular ones are Jimin and Jungkook who are similar in build and height. Jimin has small exquisitely proportioned head and dancers taut muscular physique. His smaller head makes him look smaller than others on screen. I was surprised too when i saw him. RM is slim too and also has smallish head compared to how he appears on screen. J Hope is just so handsome in real life!

He’s trained in Western dance forms which is HIPHOP, LOCKING & POPPING, ISOLATIONS, HOUSE, CRUMPING, etc Before He Learned Classical. But JIMIN is trained in All Martial Arts way before dancing. He’s been learning martial arts since he was 3 Years old. Started with Sword fighting, Fencing, then Karate, kungfu ,Taekwondo, kendo, etc. JIMIN was top of school in studies, Arts, science and Sports. Jimin : Black belt Jin : Black belt (Jin said this during the BTS run collaboration with other game show) Jk : Red/black belt Suga : Red belt Like most Korean guys, all 4 of them probably have learned Taekwondo when they were quite young, probably at the ages of elementary school & only Jimin & jk have keep it up until now. But since they all are serving military service in Korea(except Suga), they are definitely learning & training with Taekwondo & other korean traditional martial arts in their daily military training. If anyone want to know more, I am a Korean who also have learned Taekwondo. In Korea, these are the order of belt levels(품새:PoumSae) in Taekwondo which setup by 국기원(Kukkiwon, the world Taekwondo headquarters). 1. Black - There are 10 different ‘단: Dan’ in black belt.(10th Dan is the highest level) 2. Red/Black - it call ‘품띠(PoumDdi)’ in Korean or Poum group in English. In Poum group, there are 4 different ‘품: Poum’.(4th poum is highest level) 3. Red - there are 3 different 급: goub’ (1-3 goub) 4. Blue - there are 3 different 급: goub’ (4-6 goub) 5. Yellow - there are 2 different 급: goub (7-8 goub) *** In 급:Goub, lower the number of goub is higher the level of taekwondo but 품: Poum & 단: Dan, it is reversed) 6. White - there is no level because this is the basic level. Hope these information has helped. ☺️

You should watch BTS Black Swan MMA 2020 and Jimin's solo performance from BTS Map of the Soul ON:E concert 2020 which was an online concert during the pandemic when their world tour got cancelled because of covid. Glad you loved it :) I watched the live one in Permission to Dance concerts in Las Vegas. The scream nearly broke my ears. Its was beautiful. Yes Jimin majored in contemporary dance but also did ballet, jazz and folk dance. He was a top student in his arts high school. Jimin likes dancing barefoot.

I have watched this music video about 30x and I don't plan to stop. They are talking about losing the passion for music that makes their heart pound. They use a quote by the famous dancer Martha Grahame " a dancer has two deaths the first is the hardest". When you can no longer perform. RM and Suga have frequently discussed when they can no longer perform.

Black Swan is a masterpiece. I even got a swan tattoo on my wrist after the song came out because I always want to remind myself not to lose the passion in my life. Современные танцы, туда входит и балетные движения! Самые сложные движения исполняют Хосок, Чимин и Чонгук! А Чонгук тоже занимался таэквондо, не только боксом, как вы сказали, он очень хорошо рисует! За что он не берется, он делает отлично! Я Турецкий знаю, сейчас работаю в Газиантепе, но писать длинный коммент не смогу😅! Всегда смотрю ваш канал!

Black Swan is one of my fav BTS songs. I love everything about it, the lyrics, the choice of instruments used, the beat, the choreo, the outfits. Simply ❤❤❤❤❤ And the icing on the cake is Jimin. When his BS behind the scenes video came out, I was ready to cry from happiness. And not to mention his solo performance at the online concert to the orchestral version of BS. He truly embodied the struggle between light and darkness. He is such an emotive performer! I also loved discovering how beautiful V's hand movements are in BS. After Jimin, he has the most expressive and elegant ones. 💜 I'm not sure if I'm quoting correctly here but I read somewhere that, because the guys decided to dance barefoot in the old theatre, the staff had to go through the floor with a fine tooth comb to make sure there were no splinters or nails sticking out to damaged their feet. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I love so much this song!! Jimin's dancing is so fluid, so ethereal..😊 As Dilay said, it's a fight between our bright and dark side. The shadow (dark side of the soul) is the source of the creativity. The song tells about their fear of losing their passion for their art. Thank you for another wonderful reaction! The Los Angeles Theater was built about 1928. The auditorium held 2,000 seats, and the stage was fitted for live plays and performances as well as movies. The Theater also has a ballroom and a restaurant, and smaller rooms. It is closed to the public, but can be rented for film shootings, weddings,and similar events. The guys are very close in size. RM is 181 cm, Jin is 179 cm, V is 179 cm, Jungkook is 178 cm, J-Hope is 177, Suga is 176, Jimin is 175. Of course with their own body weight they can look different, plus the clothes they are wearing. V is the same weight as Jimin, Suga is the thinnest, Jungkook is the heaviest(!)
