Mustard fried chicken

I am not the only person that makes mustard fried chicken. I am just doing my way.

this seasoning will cover 6 to 7 pounds of chicken
1/4 c garlic powder
1/4 c season salt
16 ounces Frenches Mustard
1tablespoon black pepper
1tablesoon cayenne pepper
1tablespoon parsley flakes
you can season your flour or not.

We fried up about 30 pieces of chicken “mustard style “ It was all gone . Nobody was even talking at the dinner table. Just a bunch of smacking and grunting going on!

I just tried this awesome recipe. I will never cook fried chicken no other way. It was so delicious!! I serve mines with collard greens, baked beans and cornbread.

I live in Houston Texas and i am from Louisiana and i am a country girl and i wanna tell you this video warm my heart because i lost my mom some years ago and she fried her chicken with mustard and i just wanna thank you for sharing your love of cooking!!! But one suggestion if you use a brown paper bag your batter wont stick as much to you bag my Granny ask me to put that comment in....

This is a great way to fry chicken. Back in the day when my children were little and I spent more time in the kitchen, I used Mustard to fry my chicken. I was a very experimental cook back then and actually it became my career. I added a bit of Frank's red hot sauce to it also
