Nice sleeving and tubing! At 3:52, isn't the TIM quantity well over requirements ? Either for a CPU (shown later in the clip) or a GPU, the same principles should apply. Or is there a specific reason for this ?

I have respect for people who use acrylic tubes instead of flexible ones. But when you sleeve your own PSU cables, damn man, that's another level of respect.
@zahidshabir4038
@zahidshabir4038 5 жыл бұрын
He said in some video a few months back that he does it because the cables are truly custom as you can do so much more with them as just ordering a custom length is one thing but he said most made to order cables are not specific to the whole of your system they are only made to work with your PSU and are just rough estimates whereas this way you can cut the exact lengths without even measuring them (just run the the cables through and then cut it when you feel it is long enough) and you can make the inside wire of each cable shorter where the bends are as it puts pressure on the whole cable if it is bent but if on one side there is excess cable

@Omniscient that is nothing the MOST SUBSCRIBED PC water cooling enthusiast JayzTwoCents does that and I have seen it in other youtubers videos too also a pro bending kit can cost like $200 which is not even part of your PC

@@owzmo ...lol. In which case I would use angle fittings rather than trying to bend glass ;). Or Acrylic rather than PETG tubes, since acrylic has a neater glass look and can be bent more easily than glass. Else, for a "real thing" I'd go with copper tubing and call the plumber :)...

I'm an applications engineer and I've made industrial grade harnesses with sealed connectors and such, to bring with me on field works. I can tell you that the craftsmanship in this sort of tings is nothing more than using the right materials with the right tools in the right way. Once you got used to making them it becomes pretty tedious and a lot less glamorous than shown in this video, I can personally attest to that.

@@nathanphillips7486 of course there are SOME coffee machines that are more expensive. and no shit the huge ones in cafe's cost over 3000. @@barrass6337 here in Italy most bars have professional coffee machines that cost even more than 3k. So yeah, it's even below average than the price for a decent one here in IT. And you can trust me, no 500 bucks machine will ever make a coffee even half as decent as the real deal. On the other hand coffee machines for personal use at home start at 60€ but most people drink coffee (espresso) at the bar since it's 1€ or even less sometimes. So actually you can say the expensive ones are the most used. Things change drastically out of Italy though.

An anwesome looking build! Really appeaciate the cable sleeving. 99% of youtubers just throw in extensions or order custom cables. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with that. But doing everything yourself is just far more statisfying. I think I have watched every video since I found this channel, top quality stuff. Small PC's, custom sleeving and watercooling - three things that I like doing myself. Would love to see you put your Ncase under custom loop.
