I didn't want to wait 20 years for the Finalmouse to come back into stock. Got a BeastX Mini right from their website, arrived in about 2 weeks and have been using it since. Best mini mouse by far on the market and for me to take a chance on a mouse straight from China it passes all the QC with excellent build quality. I've bought plenty of Logitech and Razer in the past and had tons of build quality problems returning and exchanging just to get a good built one.

The warning box that pops up when you run the mouse software isn't really a big deal. It's part of Windows' security features like User Account Control (UAC) and SmartScreen, which help prevent potentially harmful apps from running. These features don't just track the number of users but also check if the app is digitally signed by a trusted source. Apps that aren't widely used or are unsigned may trigger warnings. For small developers, this can be frustrating because every time you update your software, it might reset its reputation with SmartScreen, causing the warning to reappear. The firmware updater likely doesn't change often and is probably signed with a trusted certificate from a recognized authority, which is why it might not trigger the same warnings.

Intel Core i9-14900K is still faster in single core performance. Although the Intel Core i9-14900K, is roughly half as powerful in multicore performance and results in being 60% slower than the Threadripper 7980x in Cinebench. The Intel Core i9-14900K has a better value for money (CPU Mark/$Price) with a rating of 111.8, compared to the Threadripper’s 27.4 and the annual running costs: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7980X: $63.88 vs Intel Core i9-14900K: $22.81. If you prioritize gaming performance, the Core i9-14900K might be a better choice, but the Threadripper 7980X excels in other tasks due to its higher core count.

It would be sick someone made essentially this monitor except a 5K120Hz and 1440p480Hz dual-mode version of it. 5K is exactly 4x1440p so the scaling would be perfect 2x. Some people take issue with 4K not being super sharp for productivity at 32 inches, and 1080p not being sharp for gaming at 32 inches, so going 5K would be perfect for both of these usecases. When Thunderbolt 5 and the next generation of this panel arrives (~2025) that might happen.

2:38 actually not true for PUBG, if you double your dpi you add +15 to the in game sensivity. i don't know why, but that's how it works, backed up by professional PUBG players aswell.

This whole comparison makes absolutelly no sence. You compare 3,5k PC to arround 7k Mac. Nah, your mashine isn't even half as compact/portable as Mac PC so this comparison is not justyfied at all.

Amazing how many used i5 gaming systems I see for sale once folks discover how their GPU is being throttled by the CPU. If you are going to spend that much money on a build go for the gusto and spend more on the CPU.
