Rogan Josh is one of the most popular non veg dishes in my house. We make this almost every month as it is loved by everyone! And since Ramadan is here, I thought why not share this recipe with you guys!
Ingredients:
1 kg Mutton (bought from www.muttononline.com)
1/2 cup Yoghurt(smooth and strained)
1 kg Onion
For grinding the spices:
6-8 Black Cardamoms
6-8 Cinnamon Sticks
4 Maces
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
2 pinch of Saffron
For making the spices paste:
3 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Ginger Powder
1 tbsp Fennel Seeds Powder(sauf)
1/2 tsp Asafoetida(hing)
For making the curry:
3-4 tbsp Desi Ghee
2 Bay Leaves
5-6 Cloves
