Fun fact: Wes Craven confirmed that last scene when the camera was on Jill, she was still breathing. Meaning she's still alive. Wes's plans was to have the next movie focus on Jill and a new Ghostface calling her. Which would of been HUGE changing up the narrative. Kirby still alive and have this huge former best friends encounter which I think would of been a fresh coat of paint on this franchise and something new that's needed instead of following the same concept 4 times through. The TV show did do it differently and that's what I loved about the MTV Series.

As a Scream fan I am so frustrated because I still can't watch the movie yet because in Quebec the lockdown is still there and we can't go to theaters anymore. I waited this movie for years and we get in lockdown the month it released. Grrr! >< It will reopen on february 7th, I hope the movie will still be there until that time, I really don't want to watch it at home for my first viewing. Finger crossed.

Love to see people watch this without the bias of years of watching the movies. Scream 4 was really good aside from the fake out openings. Was well thought out and foreshadowed today’s obsession with attention. Jill was and to a lesser extent Charlie were the first fun surprise killers. 2 was kind of a shock but the killers were barely in the movie. Jill and Charlie were in the movie a lot and still were a surprise.

I think you should show your cousin some of the classic horror movies that are acceptable for his age. You know one's like without nudity or a lot of it. So he can see how horror movie used to be made compared to nowadays. Because movies used to be made completely different back then. In the 80s an early 90s and earlier because they relied on building up of suspense. More then just body counts like most modern horror movies do today. They also left more to people's imaginations than most modern horror movies. They also spent more time with the characters so you learn about them before the stuff hit the fan. Back then it was a completely different style of filmmaking. Because nowadays it's see the characters now let's get to the body count. But for the most part back then every person was an actual character. Because they whore not just there to add to the body count. They were actual characters in the movie.
