Well now we have a new director. Anyway, before this, Radio silence confirmed that Tara and Sam are equal in the story and Sam is NOT meant to be the main one. That is why they had Tara have a romance and such to make her more relevant to the story. Also there have been many theories suggesting Stu is coming back. You can look up some clue/theory videos on it, but recently the new director followed The core four and matthew lillard (actor of stu) so that is even more suspicious. I dont think Tara has to be it. The mastermind could be Stu, and Tara is related to him. Remember it was half brother. Not half sister. Tara is only the half sister of Sam. Stu being Sam's or Tara's half brother makes more sense and would provide a better ending to the trilogy. By your logic, Sidney would have been the killer when she enjoyed killing her ghostfaces, its normal to have that feeling when you get the upperhand on people who are trying to kill you and killed your friends. You want to make sure they suffer. So far, Tara is innocent but I agree it is possible. How can we tell if Tara is the killer in 7? Well look at the vid called How to guess the killers of Scream 6 where we use a method to rule out certain characters during the movie/trailer. So we can examine Tara once we get some news. Look for attitude changes and if there are no moments shown where she is by herself. So far, there are NO clues other than her liking killing her murderers. Also, a returning character HAS NEVER been the killer in Scream. If she was the mastermind, I would expect more clues than just a "oH i LiKeD kIlLiNg", because that is not even a clue. Also I dont really believe this but the writers said that Scream 6 wasnt supposed to be like Scream 2 at all but idk about that. Tara is like the Gale, you never saw Gale be the killer in Scream 3 did you.

I like the theory but that is not enough evidence in my opinion. Just because she enjoyed it could mean nothing. I dont see any other clues to her being it and what would her motive be? Her being the mastermind would mean she had to be a mastermind of Scream 5 and Scream 6 as well. And I doubt her getting stabbed 7 times is a good option especially since she was alone during that. I dont see a motive or any other clues.

Well listen, The movies are mirroring the original trilogy.... And the 3rd Scream was supposed to be Stu..... so what if Scream 7 is finally where Stu returns? It was CONFIRMED that the actor was hired back to play him for Scream 3 until it got leaked and had to change it. So Stu was gonna come back in 3.

My current theory is that If Scream 7 has connections to Scream 3, just like 6 had connections to 2 and 5 had connections to 1. Then Stu could be the killer. We all remember that the motive or overall the killers are similliar. In 3 there was Roman who was Sidney's half brother and he was the mastermind. Meaning someone will be the mastermind in 7 and he might be related to someone. We know that Sam is related to Billy. That leaves Tara. The Carpenter sisters being related to the original killers makes sense from a story perspective. So Stu is Tara's half brother. Or in some way related to her. And she finds out the same way Sidney did. Again you could say that Sam is the Sidney, but Sam never punched Gale, Tara did. Just like Sidney. Sam also only ever suffered 1 stab and 2 slashes. But I dont think its her either.
