MY 2 AFRICAN CICHLID BREEDING GROUPS! | Blue Neons & Lwanda

Күн бұрынToday we take a look at my two African cichlid breeding groups! I have recently moved them both to 40 gallon breeders as things are currently changing in the fish room as I prep for some new & different things!
The first group we're looking at are the blue neons. I have had this male and 3 females since 2016 and have added some females since to the point where I now have 7 females with the male. All added females were from my line/breeding and I have around 20 juvie's that are currently for sale in the Pittsburgh area.
The second group we look at is my Lwanda. I have had these for about 3-4 months now and they have settled in very nicely! The male is an absolute horse and I also have 2 backup males I am currently growing out. This line is originally from Dave Hale at Something Fishy in Cleveland.

@@cichlidscape probably the lwanda, but there both gorgeous fish, 2 bits of paper in a hat and keep the one you pull out🤔🤷♂️

What kind of sand are you using in the 40 breeders?

I'd keep the Lwanda and sell the Blue Neons personally. Both super nice but love the Lwanda. I am more into the Haps at this point but still have some Peacocks but even if I stop with Peacocks I will always have a Lwanda. Also recently picked up a Eureka Red that I'm excited to see how he turns out. Any hints as to what you are looking to get?

Yeah, they’re all beautiful but the lwanda is one of my favorite peacocks aswell 👍
