@@scottkaluza4156 I never wanted to get rid of the ZL1, but my Lexus got totaled, and I just couldn't daily a race car lol Especially the gas prices over here in California!!! I used some of the money to get the Benz, and a Chevy Colorado Z71. Last month the speed bug bit me, so 2 weeks ago I got me a C5 Vette. That's what Pete was keeping a secret in his video lol

I have a 2014 Drop top ZL1. I love this car. I like 5th gens the best because i love the 69 body style and the 5th gen is the only gen that has that look, The look of old muscle but modern twist. Great looking car Sir!

Very nice. I currently am driving a 2012 Corvette Z06...but I'm in my early 60s and my back is starting to make getting out of the Vette difficult because the car sits so low to the ground. I am thinking about trading out of the Z06 and getting into a 2013/2014 ZL1 Convertible or a 2013/2014 Shelby GT 500 Convertible.

I know what you mean! I have a 2004 vette and it's beginning to be a chore getting in and out of it! Either one is a good choice! I'm bias to the ZL1. I think it looks more aggressive than the Ford, but I'm a Chevy guy lol

@@roboeclipse Either will do. I have a slight preference for the GT500 but I could be just has happy with the ZL1. I'm not in any rush so I can afford to wait and be patient to find the right car. It has to be a convertible with a manual transmission and very low miles.

@@eco_ram8608 I can't say. I haven't taken delivery of the ZL1 yet. The dealer is going to flatbed the car to me because we're in the middle of a New England winter here and we just had over a foot of fresh snow dumped on the ground yesterday. Even when the car does come, it will be going into storage until Spring. So I won't be spending much time with it until mid March. I will also be putting a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires on it as soon as the weather breaks. After that the car will be going to Jannetty Racing for some performance modifications and a dyno tune that should get it to about 625hp at the wheel.

I rememeber buying mine in 2013 for 44500/ 50k after taxes. 2 deployments later I'm paid off and only paid 3k in interest. I'm already getting ready for my 441lsx with a 4.9 mammoth. You'll fallinlove- trulley after heads cam porting. 800 starts to get fun!

I got mine with less than 20,000 miles on it, and I'm meticulous about my cars. Mine is holding up well!

That's the stock bumper for the Camaro ZL1. If you're referring to the front splitter, that's from APC. Thanks for watching!

@@tw8644you have to do it yourself or have a shop do it. Never seen ones that are for sale already like that. I did mine the same day I put the front splitter on. A lot easier to dremel the bowtie with the front bumper off.
