My 2024 Acura Integra Type-S has finally arrived! This car is so beautiful with the colors that I wanted and the copper wheels to make it even more attractive. However, some unfortuante circumstances happened that will be explained in this video.

Smart buddy. I've been Consumer debt free since 2015. After becoming debt free, we were able to save $120,000 to buy a house. We LOVE our home. I also love The Type S but even with a strong savings rate per month, I'm struggling with making sense of dropping the cash to buy one. Just respect your decision, and support your financial goals! Hence my comment.

You made a smart choice. The Type S is an amazing car but you shouldn't break the bank for one. Throw a tune on your Integra and enjoy it.

Mad respect man, it takes a man to make responsible decisions when it is hard or tempting, so I'm proud of you for walking away from a tough situation. first off 84 months is way too long for a car loan, the car, most cars will depreciate a lot over 3 or 4 years and then you still owe as much as its valued at by the bank and people lose their cars all the time, repos are up because a lot in your life can change in 7 years. I want a Type S too, I'm saving up for a large down payment so although I can afford it, I want it to be an easy, no brainer no risk situation so rather than take delivery of the Type S I was offered two weeks ago, I too decided to pass and wait for better terms. The car was MSRP and I have $6k down, but that means financing 52k and that worked out to 980 a month for 72 months and I just laughed and said no way. I can afford it; I save 2500 a month regularly so it isn't the money I just don't want to pay interest on 52k$ when if I put 25k$ down I can reduce the amount I need to finance significantly and pay a lot less for fewer months. anyway, it is refreshing to see a young guy make a smart decision when it would have been easy to fake it and take the risk so you can flex on your channel, respect man.

I really appreciate this sir. Yeah 980 per month is outrageous for an Acura Integra. You might as well get a Porsche or a similar sports car. They did 84 months as well and my goal was 60. I rather delay my gratification and get my finances in order. Not easy but I feel good about my final decision to pass on it

Sorry, also did you try to buy this car by the payment amount, or the actual price of the car? Did the dealership just throw these monthly payments at you with out knowing how they came up with these numbers?

Actual MSRP price of the car plus the copper wheel installation. I did the calculations with a different allocation price than theirs. That's what happened

I don't blame you. I would love a GR Corrola, but right now the core trim is going for 50k and that is too much for that car. Im looking at either the ASPEC or a 2023 wrx in the limited trim. Besides, you can spend way less money and get a tune and some mods and have fun with your beautiful car.

All depends on what you want. Are you buying warranty? They go with Hyundai. Are you buying one of the best FWD cars. Go with the ITS.

I was in the same situation , ultimately I couldn’t find an N under $39k+++ in south Florida , I went an test drove the Integra and loved it and found a used aspec tech 6sp with 3000 miles for $32k , if you don’t mind that power difference it’s an awesome daily 🤙

All depends on you to be honest. I would recommend the Integra A-Spec over thr Elantra N but you have to test drive them back to back and go with your gut feeling. In the end, you should be satisfied with the car that you pick to own

Turn up the volume of the music. When I picked up my ITS I drove 7hrs back to home in one shot (without stopping to sleep). I couldn't do the same when I drove earlier with a rented HRV. The drive experience was more pleasant in the ITS.

Funny that you mention turning up the radio.Seems like every time I test drive a car, the sales wonk turns on the radio and volume up so I can't hear all the squeaks,rattles, and tire noise. ,@@Marbind

Payments they offered aren’t unreasonable. I financed around 45k with payments in the 800s. Kudos to you for being responsible. That said, payments are about how much you are financing, badge doesn’t mean anything. Don’t forget People pay 80k for Chevys.

I definitely agree. Their numbers were spot on and they even lowered the price for me while extending the loan term. Unfortunately, it was on my end who is not in a comfortable financial position to spend that much for this Type S. Someone else will definitely enjoy this ride

Type S is not worth the money. A house, on the other hand, is definitely worth it. Forget about the hype, enjoy what you have and do the best for your life.

Next time gets a loan from your bank, fuc the Stealership. Believe me the manager could have pulled some strings to get you that car probably didn't want you to have it 🤷🏾

I tried that as well. Unfortunately, my bank and credit union APR rates were 8.7 and 9.1 respectfully. The dealership had the best rate. My current A-spec has 3.89% from.Hinda

@@foureyeddriver That’s a good score man. You just need to find a better bank. Also, get into Tech Sales. I make over $300k and just work like 30 hours a week. You can start at $75k as a Sales Development Representative then snowballs for there. 2 years in you’re an Account Executive making at least $200k. Hustle!
