I am also seeing ring lights, and my astigmatism is not one totally even after the ICL and I thought the surgery has not worked for my eyes but after watching this video i felt relief cause maybe that’s how it is for every patients. Thank you for making videos of your ICL journey! My eyes weren't suitable for laser surgery. I stumbled across your videos when I was doing my research on ICL and your video definitely made me more certain about getting ICL. Will have my surgery in two months and I'm super excited to see my results.

if you are eligible for CONTOURA, SMILE, or LASIK laser procedures, go for it. contoura is best among them you could even get supervision with no halos and glare shit that I have been facing since one month of ICL. 1 out of 6 people according to doctor Dr. sanjay Chaudhary has a HALOS(ring light) issue and you have to live with that. I was eligible for laser but on edge, so I opt for ICL. But from what I see on the internet no one has any problem with ICL, that's why I chose this procedure. Should have gone for a SMILE laser procedure. Let's see whether my brain learns to handle Halos within the next few months or not.

I think it will take 6-12 months for me to adopt completely. I have noticed little glare in low lightning but that's very minimal that it doesn't bother me. There is no other complications so far.

I think to achieve the 🤭 missing 5% ~ 10% of clarity you need to do a LASIK, I've watched another guy saying it, he also did ICL surgery. But you can try a simple approach for a while wearing reading glasses +1 or +2 while you work on your computer, after few minutes it will sharpen your vision.. If not, just discard it. 😅 The reading glasses uses the same fundamental of "Kubota Glasses", myopic defocus (stimulating eye to work a little to clear the blur).

I was going to have ICL surgery but developed debilitating glare in my vision from the pre-op iridotomy. Not something that gets talked about very often but it can happen. I think there's a version of the ICL that doesn't require an iridotomy but provides a different quality of vision.
@monsterzero9456

@mrschneebly9691
@mrschneebly9691 Жыл бұрын
@@monsterzero9456 I don't think it's necessarily worse, but the lens has a hole in the middle of it (which is what eliminates the need for iridotomy) and I believe it is what creates the ring lights Kev talks about. Getting an iridotomy and the regular ICL does not typically cause the ring lights, but getting the EVO lens does cause those lights. That is my understanding.

I got my eye surgery 15days ago and it's blurry everytime I wake up it takes 2-5minutes to adjust. 15 days in I am 15/20:: 1. I can read things from a distance but does have to distance my phone/books from my face to read it. 2. I see ring lights. 3. Astigmatism when my eyes are tired. 4. No eye dryness. Has your prescription stabilized since getting ICL and any changes since? Is there a concern of having to replace the lenses if there is a change? And do you know if your floaters were caused by a vitreous detachment? If so, do you need to worry about suffering from a retinal detachment in the future?
@KingEutony
@KingEutony 2 жыл бұрын
From my understanding, there isn't added risk of retinal detachment when having ICL surgery. I think you are confusing with cataract surgery. ICLs rarely have to be replaced. Only when he needs reading glasses will he have the choice of changing although by then most people accept wearing glasses. I'm curious to know how it is like to clean the eyes on a daily basis or washing the face since I myself would be worried about perhaps moving the ICL although I doubt that is easy to do.

Hey there! My prescription has somewhat stabilised after the surgery....as in there is no increase in eye power or astigmatism, hence there is no need to change or replace the lenses. Usually very near sighted people don’t actually know what natural focus distances of a human eye are. When you are nearsighted, your focus distance is shifted much nearer than would be normal with „perfect vision“. So when your eyes are corrected - you will lose the very close focus distance that you had without glasses.

go for contoura or other laser operations if you are eligible. Honestly, I regret that I opt for ICL also, I have it done in Delhi my hometown under dr Sanjay Choudhary most experienced in ICL procedure in the globe. you can get the same vision that you get with your glasses. 6/9 with glasses would still remain 6/9 after ICl. So generally you can easily get 6/6 if you are getting it with glasses. But the reason I regret is that I have been seeing Halos when there is a bright light source in the peripheral vision of my eyes, which is super irritating for me. I could have done laser operation like SMILE or LASIK or Contoura, But my power was on edge for contoura and I didn't try older laser operation techniques like smile and LASIK(as they can handle a little higher number than contoura) so I went for ICL.

@ULTIMATE god X yes i still see them, but somehow my brain got wired to ignore them. It took me 3 months. It varies person to person. Stop comparing what u had b4 to get comfortable with it sooner. And for the glare, i didn't have much problem with it as it depends on pupil size.
