I have been on 40 mg for years for panic disorder and depression. Saved my life and allowed me to live normally!

Leigh Long How are you now? In life there are only 2 problems--mind and the body. To feel better reduce negative thoughts [overthinking]. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations when taking a walk, before sleep, in school, at work, when reading, etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media, take morning sunlight walks and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

You gain weight please?
@leighlong54472 жыл бұрын
@@kieunguyen-jk2cf I only gained the weight back I lost from being depressed. Weight has remained the same for past 20 years. I still have stress but celexa simply keeps away the clinical depression and allows me to live a regular life. Exercise, eating healthy and watching excess stress helps me manage the light depression or the blues.

On my 2nd week of Celexa. So good so far. a tiny bit of loose stool but otherwise-not so bad. Definitely helping me. I know it takes 3 to 5 weeks to totally kick in. I am SOOOOO GLAD I DID IT. Some of my regular life joys are back. I get less anxious for sure. I had been afraid to take it too because I was 'anxious' of how it would make me feel. I'm SO GLAD I did it!!!! I am really proud of myself and of you and of anybody who gives themselves a chance. SCREW white knuckling through life!!! Life is hard enough.

This summarised everything that I needed! I'm so glad i'm not the only person experiencing this. I'm going to my Doctor on Friday this week as I have been on Prednisone (steroid) for an inflammation in my lungs, although it has heightened my anxiety and depression to the point where it was unbearable and I was experiencing panic attacks (which i've never had before). I think since I caught COVID-19 my mental health has gone downhill due to long covid symptoms, whereas before I was a happy go lucky fella who enjoyed life everyday. I'm going to speak to my doctor about this medication! Thank you so much for the video and sharing your experience!

Some of us try and come off this then crash into smithereens.after 7 months I had to take it again. You have to be in a very happy place to stop taking this if you suffer from crippling severe depression. Please don’t come off it unless your life is going very well indeed. Everything must be good work family money home prospects. Please don’t self diagnosis to come off it even if you think it’s ok if one of the above is going well. It will hit you very hard when it’s out of your system if you are not in that complete sweet spot like a juggernaut. It may take 4 months to come out if your system but if you are not really up there when you stop taking it in life it will take you down to the depths of hell.

Very useful in formation. In life there are only 2 problems--mind and the body. If under ADS try to stick to the lowest mg but Benzos are habit forming. hey david, ive had 2 seperate cases of severe panic disorder for about 3 years on and off, i used to take lexapro on the smallest dose, 2.5mg and then 5mg and it really helped me overcome my disorder completely the first time (end of 2019 into 2020) but when i got panic disorder a second time (end of 2020) from smoking weed, I noticed not much of an impact on the same dose 2.5mg but i was told multiple times to up my dose for it and i was too scared to so i quit the medication cold turkey, and got insane migraines/headaches (thinking someting in my head was gonna pop it was so bad) as a withdrawal i think and for the past year I’ve been medicine free but I still get panic attacks everyday (heart races everyday nonstop, evil bad thoughts), and I’m ready to get back on something, my doc prescribed me celexa but I’m very unsure about trying it Bc I’ve been so used to take lexapro and I’m just wondering what ur opinion would be, thank u so much for the video also u rock!!

I started yesterday with 20 mg of Citalopram. And so far nothing negative. Only a little tiredness and sleepy. Only thing is - i feel a little more tiredness during day but its not that bad. First week it did worsen the anxiety and depression a little but not more then i could take. And now i dont have so many negative thoughts either. Feeling much better but it takes some time before it kicks in.

I do drink regular coffee. If I drink too much it can make me a little bit more anxious, it also depends on the day. I have found though that the caffeine content that I need to wake up has gone down and I don’t necessarily need it to enjoy mornings anymore.

Pat, I do have issues when I drink more than 1 or 2 in a night, and I have issues if I drink 1 or 2 for a couple days in a row. That’s what happens to me, personally. I also make sure to keep up on my vitamins whenever I do drink to try and counteract the negative effects a bit.
