My baby is sick and I’m cooking Chicken Pho for her

Chicken Pho also known as Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup. The ingredients are three chicken leg quarters or one whole chicken, large pot of water, two or three small onions, four ounces of ginger, 2 ounces of rock sugar, 2 tbsp fish sauce, 2 tsp salt ( I always adjust amount according to my taste preference with salt and fish sauce) and in my spice bag is fennel seeds, coriander seeds, Star anise, cinnamon stick and cardamom. Bring heat to high, cover with a lid, bring down to medium low and cook for 45 to an hour minutes. Adding quail eggs is optional, but highly recommended if you can find it. Cook rice noodles in boiling water for 45 seconds and rinse under cold water immediately. Garnish with cilantro, green onions, a fresh squeeze of lime juice. For condiments add chili garlic oil, hoisin and sriracha

Same, it's totally the love. But honestly it's probably because boiled chicken and noodles are easy to digest and you are having salt and lots of liquid which you need to regain your strength so it's good anyways but I think when someone makes it for you, its good for your soul too❤

Pho is my favorite. A soldier who served in VietNam introduced it to me. I make it now in my Insta Pot, but it still takes a while. I let it cook for a longer time. Korean Pho is different from my recipe because of the quail eggs...but I suspect that your spice bag has a few surprises! I love watching you cook Korean food. Always amazing!

She's actually Vietnamese, not Korean. Also, the chicken pho in Vietnam usually comes with unlaid chicken eggs, but those are very hard to find in America so people sometimes use quail eggs as an alternative.

Okay I love this ❤❤❤ every one has a different chicken soup when our family is sick ❤❤ mine is chicken, carrots and cilantro, and elbow pasta with chicken bouillon. And salt to taste. Simple dish and it helps everytime. ❤❤❤

When my brother slightly feels a pain mom will make fresh soup with fresh ingredients... when I am sick I have to go to the store to get canned soup or ingredients to make myself soup because my mom doesn't care. One time I almost died from sepsis, she never once made me a soup. I guess it makes me happy that you are treating your daughter as a mom should. My mom was very sexist and still is and that's why she only cooks for my brother
