You are basically doing commercials for these hotels from out of your own pocket, so never feel like " i dont want to complain" you are a paying customer. It sounds to me that the employees are using vacant rooms for their own purposes & somehow, yours showed to be vacant.

I had the same thing happened to me at Harrah’s on the strip last summer. The hotel can’t do anything without the name of the employee. Very awkward and uncomfortable.

Fellow Easterner here--been a Rangers' fan for most of my life (I'm 55 now). Besides the 1994 Cup, my favorite memory was the Rangers coming out of nowhere to beat the Kings, Flyers and then Islanders to reach the Finals vs the Canadiens in 1979. Rangers won game 1 and were ahead in game 2 which they wound up losing 6-2. in Phil Esposito's words "We didn't win another faceoff after that."

That Room, That Spectacular View... And the Bed is soo Prestine, I'd feel odd getting in and wrinkling the sheets 🤣🤣🤣 Beautiful. I ALWAYS keep the "DO NOT DISTURB" on my door. I've had the same experience, with staff opening my door and it's a really creepy feeling.

Sounds like it's more than just a few kinks to iron out. But that said that room is insane. I may have to try it out 🤣

My boyfriend and i once walked into a couple 😬. We had to go back to the front desk to get another room and key. By the time we got to the front office the man was yellling on the phone. I dont know how staff make these mistakes. Pretty cool video.. keep up the cool videos

Great Video! When I went to San Antonio Seaworld years ago I got to my hotel around midnight to check in, driving in from out of town. After checking in I went up to my room, unlocked door but it had the door safe. There was someone already there. Went downstairs got an apology another room and then back up to try the new room just to have the same thing happen to me. This time the front desk upgraded my room to a suite for free. Apologized their ass off, sent security to check on the other couples and blamed everything on computer and day shift workers. I was just tired and glad I didn’t get shot lol

Circa really feels like the odd hotel on Fremont now, when you think about it. I typically stay on the Strip. I do hear, that if you're into gambling that downtown has better odds or is more gambler-friendly. Great review!

I may consider staying there next time I head out from the east coast. The suite was a bit pricey, I’ll have to check out what the standard rooms cost and look like. Keep up the great work!

I had a similar experience on a cruise a couple years ago. Some lady lost her room key so she asked one of the staff to let her in her room.. but she had the wrong room. I was asleep in bed and she walks in, I sat up she started screaming and ran out of the room. It was pretty disturbing to say the least.

I wish this was how Vegas did new casinos more often. Modern but it still looks/feels like a casino and doesn't have that office building look. The room looks genuinely nice! A lot of times renovated "nice" rooms just look too plasticky and ikea-esque for my tastes.

Victory burger is freakin amazing!! I wanted to try that smash room, i saw it like a month ago, think they said it was like 40 bucks.

By now, you should all know; the Circa has since made good on their issues with Pompsie. Meantime, a little warning for visitors hoping to go to Circa to bet on the horses: You can't! I met some Circa guest that was furious about that. ALL 'regular' sports - even soccer in other countries, etc., just not horses.

Are you sure that it was an employee? I was once given a key card to an already-occupied room. Not at this hotel, but it can still happen when you're dealing with electronic key cards.

Pompsie just doesn't do normal visits anywhere lol something always goes weird or wrong.

I remember staying at the Wynn right when it opened. It also felt disorganized. We were so confused when we checked into our room and realized someone else had already checked in. Luckily they weren’t there but their bags and suitcases were. Also the air conditioning in the casino didn’t seem to be working.

Ex-Hotel-Employee-Here! I heard you booked through Vegas.com. In my opinion, it's best to book your reservations directly through the hotel. Not through the front desk necessarily, but virtually using hotel's website. For instance, for Circa, you'd go to circalasvegas.com; or, if you're unsure what the hotel's website is, just google it and make sure it's direct. (Not via Expedia, HotelTonight, Booking.com, Vegas.com, etc.) Booking direct gives you and hotel staff the most flexibility if you ever need to cancel, extend, leave early, etc. In my experience, the best rate (or at least the same rate as through a 3rd party) is also available directly through the hotel. Might as well book direct to lessen the the likelihood of there being any issues!
