I just want to say thank you. I have suffered with pain daily since I was a teenager (27 now) and I'm heavier weight wise. I have always felt so discouraged to do walks/jogs because of my weight, pain and being too hard on myself. You inspired me to just start somewhere. August 6th, I did my first walk in the morning. Since then, I've done a walk all but 4 days since then. You encourage me to push myself when the walk gets hard and to just keep going. I'm only walking around my neighborhood so most days I only am walking 0.86mile but my body is already feeling a difference in doing these walks. Even when it was feels like 111 degrees outside (louisiana), I pushed myself to walk. I have even started adding a jog portion towards the end of the walk. I can't wait to see where this grows to over years, but thank you for being the inspiration for me to finally start moving again.

I know it seems counterintuitive but getting your body moving again can actually help so much with chronic pain! keep going!!!

@@praerietotally! I have hashimotos, endometriosis, and RA and I work out at least an hour a day for 6 days a week. It’s SO hard and there are days when I definitely don’t want to do it but the pain does get better sometimes (not always!) with movement - even if it’s gentle some days. Best of luck!

I was watching your videos before but at the end of June, my dad had a medical emergency which caused me to quit my job and move to help him rehab. I’m 23, the oldest and only one of my siblings out of school and my mom owns her own business which is our sole income. I quit taking care of myself for a while but have just started watching you again. I’ve never been able to run in my life but training starts today and I’m running a 5k on thanksgiving when my dad is supposed to completely finish his therapy.

My father in law was an endurance runner, he did the 3 peaks challenge here in the UK a few years ago, his group did really well, seeing as hes 50+ however, after running on tarmac and the uneven ground up in the mountains he had to have a knee replacement 😳. So he doesnt run now, but still walks loads, hes sooo fit! Love watching these Cody. ❤ 🇬🇧

Cody! I ran my first 10k last week and participated in a city-wide marathon. I was ranked in the top 8% of all female runners and in the top 22% of runners overall. I watched all your videos throughout my training and occasionally listened to your podcast during my runs. Watching you train and do so well during your Ironman was so inspirational. You helped me believe I can achieve anything I put my mind to as long as I give it my best. I really enjoyed hearing you on the Nick Barre podcast. I also enjoy experimenting and learning new hobbies rather than just perfecting one, so hearing you talk about it made me very happy. Especially since I feel like "the jack of all trades" personality is something I rarely hear people talk about. I just wanted to thank you because your videos have helped me a lot. Been watching you and Kelsey for years now, and I love you guys. I'm really excited for your future runs, and I'll be watching them as I train for next year's half-marathon/21k. Your family is such an inspiration, and my goal is to be an Ironman someday! Can't wait for the next merch drop :) CHOOCHOOO

Hi Cody! Im a strength and conditioning coach. Do deficit calf raises and tibialis raises to help with your shin splints. They are so powerful that when I (and a lot of my athletes) did them they got rid of the shin splints in less than 2 weeks. You can even continue your current training.
